This modern home offers uninterupted views from Mount Tauhara in the north to Ruapehu in the south and overlooks the Taupo CBD and Marina. The view of the town lights at night offers yet another spectacular perspective. The lounge extends through twin stacker doors to a massive wooden deck where you can immerse yourself fully in the views. Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the property is totally fenced and gated (i.e child friendly) and offers ample off street parking for vehicles and boats. The great open plan living area that features a fully equiped kitchen, is heated by your choice of a heat pump or freestanding Metro wood burner, there is always plenty of dry firewood in-house. Sit back and enjoy the amazing views day or night whatever the weather. Downstairs Rumpus/Bedroom is kept cosy and warm courtesy of a modern electric heatpump. It is a cruisy 15 minute walk to Taupo's excellent shopping and great cafe's.

Lake experience

The view was fantastic and rooms good. Very disappointed with state fridge and freezer was in. Lots of opened products uncovered and awful runny stuff in salad trays. The bbq was also covered in deep fat. Also carpet gripper exposed on entry to kitchen which was painful. Broken chair in dinning room, previously reported in January.

Spectacular views

7 adults and 2 small children stayed for 3 nights over the Easter break. The house was warm and comfortable - everything we needed was there. Plenty of room for us all. Very happy

Perfect spot for family with pre-teens!

We loved our stay at this lovely large home with an incredible view. It was probably more space than our family of four needed, but was perfect for relaxing after a hike to Huka Falls and playing at the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the grill was great for a post-fishing cook-out.

Views, space and location

This is a very spacious property with fabulous views and handily located to get in and out of town. The open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge with stacker sliding doors out to the deck with the fab views is the highlight of the property. We had 5 of us staying but felt like 10 people would still have lots of space. Quite nice having the two rooms downstairs when the weather is warm too. Town is walkable (20mins or so) but we tended to drive. Overall a fantastic place, would definitely stay again
