About Jeannette Rogalla

The villa is in an olive grove of more than 500 trees which has been a family plot for decades. Francesco inherited the land in the late 90s. With passion and dedication his dream of building a country villa has come true. It took four years and much effort, much of the interior wood work was made personally by Francesco, who is a lover of fine woodworking. Today Francesco and I (Jeannette) alternate between Sabina and Tuscany, between his and my land. We love nature and the quite life, we are passionate about picking mushrooms ( around here there are plenty of beech trees and the area is rich in mushrooms), we like to take long walks with our dog and discover the hidden corner of our two regions. We are also two foodies, we love good food and good wine!

We chose to share this piece of paradise with the same people who appreciate our values, genuine people like us who choose to regenerate (even for a few days) and oxygenate their minds in this oasis of peace.

During the stay of our guests we like the opportunities to meet for a chat with them, bring them a basket of our fresh vegetables from the garden and give them a taste of our wine, but never invading their privacy. In the villa we have tried to put everything we would like to find when we go on vacation: a cosy, clean and well-equipped house...in essence, we want to offer you an unforgettable stay !

What makes this villa unique

- Privacy

- Amazing view especially at sunset

- outdoor areas (sunny and schady)

- close distance to shops

- villa's comfort

A very rural, spacious and well appointed villa, with a nice pool.

  • 5 of 5

Jeanette and Francesco are very welcoming and Jeanette speaks very good English. There were 6 adults and 4 children (aged 2-7) in our party and it was lovely to eat together around the table under the shade of the veranda. We all loved the pool but be aware that children who can't swim will need careful supervision as it is deep once off the steps. Every room has air-conditioning (except the small attic) which was essential for us as temperatures reached 40+ C but it is an extra cost at nearly €100 a week if used all night in every bedroom. The roads around the house are very narrow so bear in mind when hiring a car. The local supermarket, Conad, is very good and has fresh fish as well as a bakery attached with great bread. We loved the villa and would recommend it to anyone wanting a spacious home away from it all.

Owner's Response: Dear Edward and family, Thanks for your kind review, and the precious details for our guests. The summer season here is usually warm during the day and with fresh air during the night. You have experienced an exceptionally hot summer, very unusual for Italy. It makes us very pleased that despite the heat it has all gone well. We hope to have you here again! Jeannette and Francesco

Wonderful location & property with views to die for.

  • 5 of 5

The property is everything that Jeannette has listed in her discriprion and more. The location is very rural and peaceful with great views across a valley. Located between some lovely villages you have a number of choices to eat and just soak in the atmosphere. The pool area is well laid out with shaded area if you need it and the pool was well maintained, a great place to watch the sunset. The property was very clean and well laid out with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. I would throughly recommend staying here and we had a fantastic family holiday. Thank you Jeannette and Francesco for a lovely welcome.

A fabulous house in a lovely location

  • 5 of 5

We received a lovely warm welcome from the owners, with a bottle of their olive oil from the trees in the grounds.

The house is everything you could want, well equipped with good beds and bathrooms. The views are gorgeous and the pool is great on a hot day, though it is deep and not ideal for young children

We thoroughly enjoyed our week and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Paradise on earth

  • 5 of 5

We highly recommend this location: the villa is great: it's comfortable, cosy, spacious and very clean and the kitchen is very well equiped. You can enjoy the Italian sun as much as you can as there are 2 terraces, a beautiful garden and a swimming pool. The owners are so helpful and friendly.....in fact, you can rent this villa with your eyes closed.

Jeannette e Francesco, grazie mille per la vostra ospitalità, era un piacere conoscervi!

Ro, utsikt og vakkert hus med sjel

  • 5 of 5

Herlig, tilbaketrukket hus! Stort og veldig italiensk. Romslige rom, 4 gode sov og 3 flotte bad. Store fellesareal. Utsikt med solnedgang hver kveld. Flott basseng, hager, balkong og uteområde under tak. Rett og slett helt herlig feriested som anbefales på det varmeste!
