Amazing top quality accomodation
This is a very high quality cottage where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful break. The living area is extremely comfortable, a huge comfy bed and wetroom compliment the very well equiped kitchen. The welcome pack is amazing and if the weather is good the small garden is an ideal area to relax in.
Thank you so much for the kind comments and we are so glad that you enjoyed your time with us. We strive to make everything as perfect as we can for our guests, but the weather is out of our control, however when the sun shines the cottage garden as well as the grounds of the main house are fantastic to sit and eat out as well as explore. We hope that should you plan to visit this part of Wales again you pay us a visit.
Many thanks and it was a pleasure to go in the cottage after you as you left it clean and tidy

A great New Year getaway!
A very well equipped modern cottage with a wood burner to ward off the winter evenings. Set next to the owners house in a quiet location close to Bridgend.
The owners made us hugely welcome with a great welcome pack of food and drink. The Christmas lights were another great little touch.
Very enjoyable stay. We barely scratched the surface of places to see and loved the cosy evenings by the fire.
Many thanks for your fantastic review and we are so please that you enjoyed your stay with us and so pleased that you enjoyed our welcome hamper which we feel is an important part of the 5* experience.
We hope you have a great 2017 and look forward to welcoming you back at any time in the future

Great Property. Nothing forgotten. Hospitable and caring Hosts.
We found the Cwytch at The Old Rectory to be a perfect place to have a peaceful rest, to make the most of the on-site kitchen/cooking facilities and to explore a fascinating piece of Wales without having to be based in a big city or large town.
The space offered by a manicured garden and surrounding fields is a very relaxing environment.
The cottage is architecturally a gem. Modern, stylish, practical, clean and efficient.
Anyone wanting to explore Cardiff, The Mumbles and the hills to the north should give it serious consideration.
Or, just go there for a pleasant break and wander around the Cowbridge shops and cafes.
Many thanks for your fantastic review, it makes all the hard work so worth while and we are both pleased that you found everything that you needed, not only at the cottage and grounds, but in this fantastic part of South Wales
