Beautifully presented 2 bedroom apartment set in a quiet location with free wifi

163 Gramacho (Rental Licence Ref: 20927/AL. This apartment is ideal for a relaxing break, situated on a quiet spot on the Gramacho golf course near Carvoeiro it boasts a lovely terrace area with comfortable outdoor furniture where you can sit, unwind and enjoy the garden views.

On entrance to the property there is a spacious hall leading into a bright and open lounge and dining area, there is a comfortable sofa and two easy chairs, a large wide screen TV with some English channels, DVD player, free wi-fi and table and chairs with seating for 4. The lounge has air conditioning/heating available and a log burner for winter lets. The lounge opens up onto the private terrace with a dining area ideal for al fresco dining and loungers so you can relax in the sunshine or take advantage of the shaded area.

There are two well presented bedrooms, both with twin beds, both bedrooms have air conditioning and TV's with some English channels. The main bedroom has a King Size bed. There are two modern bathrooms, one is en-suite and the other is right next to the second bedroom so perfect for two couples sharing or a family holiday. A travel cot can be provided for a small extra cost.

The spacious, light kitchen has everything you need if you want to dine in, there is a hatch connecting the lounge to the kitchen which gives it a really light and open feel.

There is a gorgeous pool area within a 5 minute walk from the property, the pool has sun loungers and parasols offering the perfect environment for total relaxation. The club house is within a 5 minute walk and a small supermarket which is just a 5-8 minute walk away.

There is also a heated pool available near the club house, there is an additional charge for this which is managed by the Gramacho reception.

What makes this apartment unique

We have enjoyed many family holidays in our apartment on Gramacho, it's a great size for a family of 4 and it's ideal if you want a nice relaxing break or it offers a good base if you would like to explore the Algarve. Our apartment is just a short walk to the pool (within 5 minutes) and the club house where we have spent many early evenings enjoying the lovely views over the 18th fairway. We have only just started renting the apartment and we have tried to ensure that it has everything you need to make it feel like home from home. The bedrooms have air conditioning for the summer months and we have a log burner which is ideal for the winter months, we have also just installed Wi-Fi. The pool area is a great place to enjoy the sun while the children play and there is access to a heated pool in the cooler months, Gramacho do charge a small fee for the covered pool. We love it here as it's a peaceful and relaxing environment but you are just a short drive from the two nearest towns Carvoeiro and Ferragudo and you are spoilt for choice with local beaches and beach bars.

Loved it.

We've had many apartment and villa holidays and this has to be up there with the best of them. Excellent directions from the airport from Emma and Mike who then gave us a very warm welcome at the apartment. A nice addition was the welcome pack of essentials which meant we didn't have to shop immediately.

The apartment itself is clean and comfortable and very well equipped. We were there for 3 weeks and had a weekly clean and linen/towel change. The property is very quiet , particularly at night but is only a short walk from the clubhouse if you want to eat and drink there. There is also a nice sized swimming pool which my wife in particular enjoyed for her daily morning swim as she had the pool to herself on most days.

We had a couple of minor issues which were sorted out very promptly by Mike and Emma.

Al in all a very enjoyable holiday and we hope to be back in the not too distant future.

Comfortable no hassle rental.

The listing for this property was very accurate. The apartment was light and airy and very comfortable. It was well furnished with everything you would need for a short break. Positioned just a short walk away from the communal pool which was clean and quiet. The Clubhouse at Gramacho was very near for drinks and meals if wanted. Emma and Mike were very helpful with settling us in and they paid attention to every detail thanks for your help. The apartment was very clean and I would definately recommend it to friends and family and would visit again.

nice and clean in a fine setting!

The apartment was very nice and clean in a fine setting and a beautifull environment. We had a great time. The resort is really peacefull. When we are living there we were glad to have a rentalcar, because there is a lot to do and see in the neighboorhood. The see is everywhere but all some miles away. And the nice surrounding villages are inviting you to visit. Emma and Mike are doing the best they can to make you feel at home. The appartment has everything you need to have a good holiday.

We liked it a lot that even the beach towels were available. We really recommend this nice spot and its beautiful region. Hope to do it again!

Outstanding

The apartment fully lived up to both description and expectations. Close to lovely outdoor pool and the clubhouse. Spent many nights on clubhouse terrace overlooking the 18th green, enjoying the sunsets, the food, and the company. A car is desirable if visits to the attractions, the local resorts/beaches, and further afield are required. As a " sports nut " the 3 televisions offered every sports channel you could wish for, plus many others. Emma and Mike were more than helpful and provided a comprehensive welcome pack. The Portuguese people are wonderful and really appreciate even the simplest attempt at basic Portuguese. We especially fell in love with the resort of Ferragudo, some 15/20 mins by car; one of the best beach bars we have ever visited. Fully recommend the area and the apartment.

What a lovely, relaxing home from home apartment

Lovely apartment, great furnishings both inside and out, with brilliant rattan garden furniture in manicured gardens. There was nothing that we needed which wasn't provided.

The walk to the pool was only 5 minutes and I have had 2 hip replacements so not an issue at all.

Emma & Mike were brilliant and couldn't be more helpful or approachable from the numerous email enquiries prior to booking down to the meeting at the apartment with a lovely welcome pack.

Thank you we really enjoyed the holiday and will definitely be back

Apartment 163 Gramacho is a beautifully presented 2 bedroom ground floor apartment is situated in a peaceful location on the Gramacho Golf resort . Located just a 45 minute drive from Faro Airport, and just a short drive from the popular towns of Carvoeiro and Ferragudo and a number of local beaches.

Tourists return to Carvoeiro year after year, unable to resist the charm this town offers, Situated between Lagos and Albufeira, Carvoeiro is known for it´s relaxed and friendly environment perfect for winding down and experiencing what the Algarve has to offer.

There are a number of secluded sandy beaches where you can spend hours relaxing or take a boat trip and visit the magical coves (grotto´s) of the Western Algarve. Although smaller and less commercial than some of the other towns Carvoeiro and Ferragudo enjoy some of the best cuisine around. There are a number of traditional Portuguese restaurants where the fresh fish on offer is highly recommended, or alternatively you can choose from Indian, Italian, Tapas, Chinese, European or English cuisine. During the day you will find a selection of cafe´s and small bars where you can sample some of the traditional Portuguese pastries and fresh croissants.

You don´t have to be a keen golfer to enjoy the Gramacho resort, the swimming pool is within a 5 minute walk from the apartment, it is fully equipped with loungers and parasols or you may choose to relax on the terrace with the garden views. On site there are also tennis courts, covered heated pool (extra charge) and the golf club restaurant and bar where you can get food and drink throughout the day.

If you fancy something slightly more adventurous there is the slide ´n´ splash waterpark nearby (5 minute drive) or take a trip to Zoo Marine (25 minute drive) which is great for a family day out.

Our Property Managers Emma and Mike will handle the rental administration but payments are made directly to us (the owners). Emma will be able to help with any questions regarding your stay at our apartment. Mike and/or Emma will meet any guests at the apartment on arrival to hand over the keys and give any relevant information about the property and the local area, they are on call 24/7 throughout your stay and more than happy to help if required.

Payment Information:

Rentals of less than 7 nights: We are happy to take bookings for less than 7 nights in the less busy months but any bookings less than 1 week will have an extra charge for cleaning which will depend on how many are staying in the apartment. Quotes will be given at the time of enquiry.

Winter: We are very happy to take winter rentals, there is a wood burning stove in the apartment which heats the apartment well in the winter months, prices are negotiable for long term rentals of 4 weeks or more in the less busy months. Nov-March: Electrics charged separately.

Cot and High Chair Hire: We can provide cots and high chairs at a small cost, these would need to be booked in advance and paid for on arrival.

Maid Service: If you are staying for 10 nights or more there is a maid service with linen/towel change. Additional cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost.
