A self-contained annexe to our charming Charollais farmhouse, this studio is bright, light and perfect for a couple, two friends, or a couple with a child. Attractive to walkers, horse-riders (liveries possible), antiques, culture and countryside-lovers alike, it is a great base from which to explore the Charollais region of Burgundy, its vineyards and gastronomy.
Built from locally-sourced and fabricated, organic materials, the studio boasts a range of artworks by a local artist and locally sourced antiques on display.
With a separate entrance from the main house, an equipped kitchenette (two gas hobs, a fridge, microwave oven and dining area), the studio retains its autonomy. Guests can, however, choose to have their meals prepared by ex-TV chef Harriet and brought over to the studio, or to dine on locally-sourced meals at the family table in the main house.
An outdoor seating area and cooking facilities (BBQ, open fire, tagine, etc) are also available, along with the use of a good amateur telescope, to observe the best of the night sky.
Beds can either form one double, or two singles, and a child's bed can be added for free if required. The tiled shower/ WC is clean and modern, and furnished with organic soaps and shampoos. All linens are also provided.
