Ideal house for group of Aussie walkers

  • 5 of 5

Samantha provided a trundle bed (although it looked like a regular bed) to enable us to accommodate 7 singles and one couple in comfort. Everyone loved the house. It was comfortable with plenty of seating indoors and out, and enough private space for us all. All rooms having ensuites was a bonus. The house was fitted out with great practicality and had all the amenities we wanted.. It was almost on the Cotswold Way which we were walking, and conveniently situated for us to be ferried to starts and finishes in the first 50 miles. And it had historic interest. We learned about the Lisle earl who was killed at the battle of Nibley from a history of the house supplied in the living room, and consequently went searching for and found his tomb when we reached the church at Painswick. It all made the place more fascinating. We would come back.

Perfect house for a group gathering

This house is located in a stunning area of the Cotswolds - highly recommend the walk up to the local monument. The garden was the perfect setting to spend a sunny summer weekend with a BBQ on the go. A well equipped house and welcoming host. Thanks.

A beautiful, elegant property set in gorgeous countryside.

  • 5 of 5

Six of us decided to spend a long weekend in North Nibley to celebrate a colleagues retirement. We had the best of times in the most beautiful of houses. The house had everything we needed and the bedrooms were delightful, quintessentially english. The sun shone all weekend and as we drank prosecco and ate scones with strawberries and cream in the large garden, we all agreed that we couldn't have picked a nicer house or setting. We're now recommending it to all of our friends.

Lovely country cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at North Nibley.

The house was very well stocked with all the essentials. And lots of games and toys for the kids too! The bedrooms were light and airy with comfy beds and plenty of wardrobe space. The garden was fab we had a lovely barbecue with charcoal and fire lighters brought round from next door and we sat out to eat whenever we could as the garden was so private and inviting. There was plenty to see and do in the local area, a walk to the Tyndale monument is a must. My 7 year old nephew was very interested in the history of the house being an old mill. It was charming! Only complaint was the toaster was a bit iffy! Everything else worked well.
