The town of Calvi is a typical Umbrian medieval town enclosed by walls, doors and winding alleys; it is a very old settlement whose traces date back to the Middle Bronze Age.
Located in the province of Terni, in the southern tip of Umbria, has a built-up area which is 400 meters above sea level and is located on a limestone cliff along the slopes of Mount San Pancrazio, which dominates the Tiber valley .
It has an area of 45 sq km consisting mainly of pine and holm oak woods that over the centuries have represented, along with agriculture, an important source of income for the population.
The panorama is characterized by hills Umbrian-Sabine, from above the Tiber valley, from Mount Soratte and the mountains Vulsini, Cimini and Sabatini Vicani.
The country enjoys a mild climate that together to the amenity of the area and to its proximity to the city of Rome (50 minute drive), it has made over the centuries a holiday resort, as shown by the ancient palaces and numerous country houses in the area. Currently there are several sports fields and a swimming pool.
In the highest part of the country, near the Monastery of the Ursulines built in 1600 (now the town of Calvi), is an old building built in 1700 where the third floor / attic is located the apartment in question.
It covers an area of 80 square meters with coffered ceilings sloping, tiled floors, and two beautiful panoramic terraces overlooking the monastery, on the roofs of the village, to the distant Mount Soratte.
The property in question consists of: a living room with kitchen and dining area with a large window that leads onto a roof terrace; a second very cozy living room with fireplace; a double room; a bathroom with shower. The terraces (30 and 50 sqm) are both living space, surrounded by evergreen plants and flowers, and equipped with tables, chairs, and umbrella canopy, comfortable to eat outside and enjoy the beautiful views.
The apartment, equipped with every comfort, turns out to be of great charm and is furnished with very good taste. It sleeps two people plus two, using a sofa bed placed in the living room with the fireplace.
