Old village bakery delightfully converted into a holiday pad by an Italian artist, this home still preserves most of the original features: a large wood-fired oven, 3 fireplaces (one of which is in the bathroom!) and the beautiful wood beam ceiling.
The house is developed vertically across 3 floors, and it is positioned almost at the top of the village of Poggio Santa Lucia, between the towns of Tornimparte and Sassa. It is easily accessible from the L'Aquila/Rome Motorway, only 15min drive from the Tornimparte exit. Yet, the village is situated in a perfectly quiet spot with superb views of the Campo Felice mountains.
The house has one double bedroom with a mezzanine where 4 people can sleep comfortably, plus one living room with a sofa bed that can host extra 2 people. The kitchen (the main area of the house) can also sit 6 people.
There is space outside the house for dinners "al fresco" and reading a book while sunbathing :-)
Given the presence of lots of stairs between the various rooms, the place may not suitable for small children.
