Warm, welcoming, stay at a lovely comfortable house in a beautiful area of France.
Lovely stay in an area ideally suited for visiting any of the world war one battlefields. So much to do in this area. The hosts were so welcoming to us and the warm croissant's in the morning were very much appreciated. The house is really well stocked for essentials that we had all we needed.
We appreciated the kindness of your couple and your two lovely and very polite children.
It will always be a real pleasure to receive you
Rivière and Arras
Very pleased with the property. The owners were very welcoming and provided a lot of local knowledge about the immediate and surrounding areas of Arras. Morning supplies of croissants and baguette were most appreciated. We enjoyed our stay very much and we recommend this gite.
You could not find more welcoming and helpful hosts than Jean Claude and Marie Madeleine.
We would highly recommend this property. It is in an excellent position for touring the battlefields (with a car, which we hired from nearby Arras). However, it was also a home away from home for those recovery days which are essential to every overseas trip. Our hosts were so accommodating and we were greeted every morning with a baguette and bag of croissants on the windowsill. They were also able to provide much local knowledge about the area. Our stay was one of the highlights of our trip and we would hope to return one day.
Thank you to the HORTON family for these precious moments spent with you.
We keep an excellent memory of your arrival in the Gîte de la Fontaine. It will always be a pleasure to see you again.
Very welcoming, excellent accommodation and delightful breakfast provided.
Very clean and pleasant, lots of room and quiet.
One suggestion--provide GPS location with confirmation.
Ce fut un très grand plaisir de vous recevoir et c'est avec un grand plaisir que nous vous recevrons à l'occasion de votre venue en France

A wonderful weekend away!
What a fabulous cottage, a fire was waiting for our arrival - making the place cosy and welcoming. The owners were the epitome of attentiveness. Friendly and informative too -
We were three families and the cottage suited our needs perfectly. Lovely fresh croissants and bread left for us in the mornings - We would stay again! Definitely!
Perfect short break getaway
The property was in lovely surroundings and had everything we needed for a 5 day break. The beds were comfortable and a continental breakfast was delivered each day. The kitchen has all the necessary implements and a bottle of wine had been left for us. An unexpected addition was the pool table, football and table tennis tables. There are also bikes for those who wish.
Monsieur and Madame were very accommodating and gave us ideas about places to visit. I would certainly return to this gîte.
Nous avons un eu un grand plaisir de vous recevoir. Sachez que vous serez toujours les bienvenus. Marie-Madeleine et Jean-Claude
