A lovely stay!
The apartment was lovely and clean, not large, but perfect for two people. It was bright and cheery and well appointed meeting all of our needs. The location was perfect for us being in the Centro Historico section of Rome. It was close to all of the tourist sites and there was no shortage of places to eat and drink. It was most fun to park yourself at a small bar in the Campo di Fiori to have glass of wine and watch the world go by. The apartment was located on an upper floor that overlooks a small piazza which was wonderfully busy from early morning until later in the evening. The sounds of life and children playing during the day after school is out was wonderful. Then, in the evening the piazza belonged to the older generations enjoying the gelato store, the fish restaurant and the bar. However, it was very quiet overnight so rest was not disturbed. There was a beautiful small church at the end of the piazza that must be visited. For a photographer the piazza provided such a wonderful picture of daily life in Rome from a different perspective. It is not often it is possible to photograph from above.
Alessia was a wonderful host and was very prompt in addressing any concerns we may have had about things in the apartment such as how to open the door to the washing machine! This was greatly appreciated.
Our stay was very nice, but do watch for the last flight or two up to the apartment since they are a bit challenging.
Our stay was very enjoyable, to say the least.
Efficient apartment in good location
This is a small but efficient apartment located on a quiet tiny street, right off of Campo di Fiori. Lots of great shops and restaurants closely, yet you get peace and quiet at night. The hostess is very responsive to requests and inquiries. The apartment is clean and well-stocked with little extras like umbrellas and coffee makers, but does look much bigger in pictures. The tight staircase and uneven steps are a bit tough to negotiate.
Amazing property right in the heart of Rome!!!
The apartment was very clean and well appointed. We loved our stay!
Perfect place in the heart of Everything!
First off, Italy is beautiful! This little apartment in the heart of Rome was/is EXACTLY what we/you are looking for! Nestled right near Campo de' Fiori the charm of Rome, access to everything, and genuine hospitality of the owner made our trip to this city memorable.
Alessia was quick to respond, helped arrange our dinner venue's before arriving, sorted out pick up to and from the airport/train station and provided any information we were looking for.
The apartment was clean, bed was comfortable, and the A/C was a bonus when the days got hot!
The little court on the street had access to a coffee bar for breakfast and bar for drinks in the afternoon or night. If that doesn't make you happy, a mere 100 yards away up the street is a piazza with everything you need - food, gifts, cheese, meat, pasta....
We were a close enough to walk the Vatican (25 min), colosseum (20 min), and heart of Rome that every sight was easy and accessible whenever needed.
Access to the apartment was easy - however, there are a few flights of stairs and the top set are a bit steep, but if your healthy and able enough to make the walk, its a simple task to overcome.
Location, location and then some stairs
The apartment was cute and clean. Big enough for a couple. The location was amazing. You cannot beat the location. It was close to everything. Easy walk to all the major sites. Alessia was an amazing host. She was there to greet us. During our stay, we had two issues, one with bathroom and the second with TV. Alessia took care of it ASAP. She was easy to contact. Always responded immediately. The biggest drawback of the apartment were the stairs,... did I mention the stairs :( It was no fun. The apartment is on the second floor and if Alessia had not helped us, I have no idea how we could have taken our bags up. If you only carry backpacks or very light suitcases, go for this place. The apartment also needs few things like kitchen Napkins, extra towels, instructions on how to use the washing machine. We had to manually stop the washing machine. My clothes were overwashed lol. In all our experience was amazing and the weather was great.
Great location, good accessibility.
Nice, quaint apartment. Good. Central location to sites in Rome. Had an issue with water heater, and was uninformed about a switch next to light switches that shouldn’t be touched. Otherwise great, and we will come back here again
Thank you David for your review.
I'm really sorry about the water heater's switch! Giulia always inform the guests, but probably this time she forgot it.
Thank you again and hope to see you in Rome again
Located in the heart of Rome a few steps from Campo de 'Fiori, famous for its market of local products, restaurants, cafes and shops. The central location allows, with a pleasant walk to reach the main tourist sites such as Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, Pantheon, Palazzo Farnese, Tiber Island, Trastevere, the Ghetto area and many other points of interest.
The proximity to bus stops can move easily around the city
