BOOK A WEEK, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
I stayed here in July 2015 with my husband and 3 other couples. We will definitely be coming back both with our family and with just adults again. The interior and exterior of the house can only be described as beautiful. From the moment we drove up the long, immaculate gravel drive, we relaxed and knew we'd chosen well. The hostess has a wonderful eye for detail and has thought of everything. The beds were exquisitely comfortable and the kitchen extremely well-stocked. We had superb weather when we stayed, so were able to make fantastic use of the heavenly grounds. We had breakfast in the sun on one terrace, lunch by the pool, drinks in the jacuzzi and dinner in Provence (well that's what it felt like). It was a struggle to leave the house at all but luckily we did, as Broadway is a gorgeous place, full of restaurants, galleries and quaint shops. We raided the fabulous Broadway Deli and local butcher's and headed straight back to "the haven". Inside the house, once the evening got chilly, we retreated to one of the many rooms to drink, chat, play snooker and listen to music. Every room is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful pieces and a contemporary twist. Perhaps we'll go back at Christmas and take advantage of the log fires and comfy sofas....you better hurry and book (before we do!). Susan M
The epitome of a wonderful Cotswold country estate
For the active, the sedentary and the downright lazy this masterpiece of English style covers all bases. For young and less young there are so many areas in which to hide away or to be together, to burn calories or to consume them. The owners' warmth, care and thoughtfulness course through the property. And the only reason not to recommend it is to maintain the secrecy of a special destination!
The most beautiful property where attention to detail is perfect! Luxurious and effortless in every way! Feel so lucky to have stayed in this property and to witness and live its charm! Will definitely be booking again x
Stunning holiday residence
This has got to be the most relaxing and beautiful holiday home we have ever experienced. Stunning house with amazing grounds and facilities. Everything about this place is just wonderful.....we can't wait to go
Luxury Personified in the Country
This is the first house that you encounter when entering the village Aston Somerville from Broaday and you have to go no further. Up the gravel drive you enter a large, warm, beautifully decorated and furnished house with every possible equipment for a fabulous weekend, week or even longer. We used the billiard table and tennis court but with the cold wet weather we felt the swimming pool was not sufficiently inviting!!!! In the summer months this would really be useful. The rooms are large with amazing views across the fields and the bedrooms and bathrooms are really 5 star. Importantly this house feels like a well loved and cared for home and if you want to be lazy you could chill there or be more adventurous in the beautiful countryside, villages and in the nearby Stratford Upon Avon. Wow what a find!!!!
