About the property

Bryn Meirion Bach is a fantastic conversion of an old woollen mill warehouse, set over three floors, in the centre of Dolgellau, North Wales. The property is perfect for couples and small families, with a double bedroom and a single bedroom with exposed beams and purlins on the second floor, along with a bathroom. On the first floor, the open plan living area houses a kitchen with a breakfast bar and a sitting area. There is an entrance hall on the ground floor with a woodburner-style electric fire, offering you a warm welcome, while outside, the rear, enclosed courtyard is a great spot for alfresco dining in the summer months. There is a parking space for a small-medium car in a garage and additional roadside parking on the street. Offering oodles of character and charm, the mill has sash windows and you can even view the remaining mill workings! There is lots to explore in the immediate area, from walking and cycling routes to castles and beautiful sandy beaches, making Bryn Meirion Bach a great base for uncovering the secrets and delights of North Wales. Amenities: Gas central heating with halogen heaters. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking in garage for 1 car with limited additional roadside parking available. Cycle and motorbike storage in garage. Enclosed courtyard with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pub and restaurants 2 mins walk. Note: Garage only suitable for a small to medium-sized car due to the tight access lane restricting the swing of the car. Note: The fire in the living area is for decoration only. Note: Should any breakages occur at the property, we kindly ask that you inform the property owner directly. Note: From Mid April to mid October there will be a parking permit available at the property for all long stay Gwynedd Council car parks. Please ensure that the permit is left at the property at the end of your stay or a cost of £20 will be incurred which is the cost of printing a new permit.

Lovely house, every comfort provided

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a lovely week in Dolgellau. This house is central, two minutes walk from the town square and has every comfort. The owner provided a welcome gift of milk, Welsh tea and butter and made certain that we were comfortable and that if we had any queries we could contact her as she lives locally in town. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy and the relaxing bath is welcome after long walks. Excellent property that I can recommend without hesitation.
