Set mostly on the ground floor, there is only one room upstairs, a double bedroom with an an en-suite bath, so you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing soak after a day of walking. The other two bedrooms downstairs have the zip/link option of being made into super king-size doubles or twins, and there is also a family bathroom and an open plan living space, with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburner and large double doors opening directly into the garden. The garden is lawned and fenced, with furniture so you can enjoy alfresco dining when the weather suits. Beyond the garden is an enclosed paddock with sheep that may come over to say hello, and there is also off road parking and many walks nearby, making Poppy Cottage a lovely little country retreat. Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine in external utility, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi.
