Amber Cottage is a charming, traditional, terraced cottage, quietly hidden away in one of the narrow yards in central Whitby and can sleep four people. The cottage is set over three floors and has a double bedroom, a second floor twin bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a living flame gas fire. Outside there is roadside parking and parking in local car parks. Amber cottage is a wonderful base for discovering the popular seaside town of Whitby.

Town: Situated at the mouth of the River Esk, Whitby is an ancient fishing port steeped in history. The ruin of St Hilda's Abbey is high on Whitby's East Cliff and looks down on narrow streets and alleyways. From the old town, the parish church of St Mary, also on East Cliff, has 199 steps leading to it and the churchyard was one of the inspirations for Bram Stoker's Dracula. Other attractions in Whitby include the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Victorian Jet Works and The Dracula Experience. There are year-round events at Whitby Pavilion Complex and there is a blue flag beach and spectacular cliffs and bays to explore.
