Tired furniture, stairs unsuitable for children. No wifi
The 1960's furniture in the property is in need of replacement and very tired. The stairs have gaps between the treads and it was necessary for us to accompany our grandson whenever he need to use them, even in the middle of the night.
On arrival the wifi was working and despite numerous calls and emails was still not available when we left. The possibility of staying connected was on of the main reasons we booked this cottage and feel very let down by the lack of response. From what I can gather ther owners live some distance away (100's of miles) and do not appear to have any maintenance locally.
Would I book this cottage again or indeed use Homeaway, no and probably not respectively.
