The Cumbria Coastal Path runs close by and presents visitors with superb walking and nature watching opportunities. Historic Cartmel is just two miles away and has been called the prettiest village in the Lakes due to its quaint cobbled streets, antique shops, traditional pubs and the Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant.
