For more than five years, the Bed & Breakfast "For My Friends" offers hospitality to travelers from all over the world come to Rome. It is located in the central and well served Prati district, a few meters away from the Metro: Ottaviano-San Pietro-Vatican Museums 8linea A) .The Vatican Museums are a five minute walk from the house and the Basilica of San Pietro ten. You can reach all the major attractions on foot or by public transport. The neighborhood is residential, lively but quiet and safe. Very well served by public transport, many shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, restaurants and ice cream parlor. And 'everything at hand and pocket. The palace built in the early 1900's, has a beautiful garden and lots of space. L 'apartment is on the second floor and has an elevator and doorman. Rooms to offer our guests bed are two: The Sun room (double) and the Starfish Suite (triple -quadrupla) each with private bathroom, kettle with an assortment of teas and herbal teas, coffee maker with Espresso pods, small refrigerator . The breakfast, included in the price, is served in the bar downstairs, and the staff is always ready to meet your requirements to optimize your stay in the capital.

Quiet Location Close to the Things You Need in Rome

The space was tight for three, especially our daughter who had to bend down in the loft which has a very low ceiling, but it was clean, comfortable and in a perfect location for getting to everything inside the Vatican Walls. So many of the areas in Rome are packed with crowds and noise, but For My Friends B&B was a quiet, despite being so close to the hub of Catholic history. Equally beneficial is having a Metro station (Octaviano) three blocks away. That made access to many of the other sights like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Pantheon just minutes away via the subways serving Rome. Matilde went out of her way to help with some special needs, like picking up tickets for an audience with the Pope. It's hard to put a value on service like that when it gives you an opportunity like we had in the attached photo.

Great Property Near a Metro

Property was great! Matilde was very helpful checking in and left clear directions on how to get there. She even left a couple cold drinks for us in the fridge after our long journey from the airport. Would definitely stay again next time in Rome. Only downside was building was getting a facelift at the timebut it did not disturb us at all, and there were no other issues as a result.

Great location!

Fantastic place to stay! Friendly easy to reach owner! Walking distance to Vatican City! One block from the subway! Mini split AC. We loved our stay here and will be returning when I get another chance to visit Rome!
