Chuggs Cottage is situated right in the heart of the wonderful coastal village of Croyde. It is a charming family home comprising of 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room and a useful separate W.C. The property has been refitted, redecorated and refurnished to an incredibly high standard with a wonderfully warming, country cottage feel throughout. Each room of the property has been thoughtfully designed to make the very most of the gorgeous features; these can be seen via our 3D showcase of the cottage. Chuggs Cottage is located just a short walk from the centre of the village and beautiful sandy beach, close to all local amenities and a real gem to behold.

This fabulous cottage is a pretty, partly thatched holiday home that can be found positioned in the heart of this stunning village. Upon entering, you are assured to feel very much at home, with the cottage's warming charm greeting you with open arms from the offset. To the right of the hallway you will find a fantastic new kitchen, fitted with all the modern appliances and equipment needed to make your stay a real home from home. The light and airy feel to this room makes it the perfect place to cook up a delicious breakfast, with a handy breakfast bar available for you to sip away at a relaxing morning coffee. Perfect! Also located on the ground floor is an attractive double bedroom, accessed via steps from the kitchen. This is a really lovely room with a good amount of storage, a dressing table for storing essentials and a small window, allowing the glorious natural light to lift the room and create a fresh feel. There is also a newly fitted, modern family bathroom on this floor, with an excellent drench shower over the bath and cool tones to create a relaxing atmosphere for those wishing to indulge in a restful soak. A further downstairs WC is located to the immediate right as you enter the front door.

The attractive, open plan dual living/dining area has comfortable seating for all 6 guests and has been tastefully decorated to a very high standard, with stunning beams and a log burner for those all important, cosy winter evenings in. There is also a flat screen television, should you wish to catch up on the daily news or enjoy a favourite programme or two! A really charming space for you everyone to enjoy.

To the upstairs of the property you will find two further bedrooms that perfectly mix original features of the house with modern touches and décor, complimented further by high quality linen throughout. The rooms consist of one good sized twin and one king size bed, each with lots of natural light and a good amount of storage for you to tidy away your belongings and make the most of the space. The king size bedroom can also be configured as two single beds if this better suits your requirements. However, if you do wish for the room configuration to be altered, please confirm with Ocean Cottages prior to your arrival.

The final room on this floor is is a newly fitted upstairs shower room with W/C, a terrific addition that ensures guests are able to really unwind and have a calm and enjoyable stay.

To the front of the property there is a small courtyard, ideal for catching some Summer sunshine when the weather is fine. The property is accessed via a shared driveway where you will find that there is parking for 2 cars. Two store rooms provide storage for bikes and surf boards (with a rail for wetsuits) in the enclosed, lawned garden which is South and West facing. This is a really good sized outdoor space, ideal for children and pets to run around and feel exhilarated in the fresh, coastal air.
