The MAS DE L'ORIGAN in Peymeinade is a renovated former farm house, only 1km walking distance to the center of our village with 7500 habitants, 5 km to Grasse, 16 km to Cannes, 35 km to Nice.

The oldest part of the villa dates back to the 19th century. Fenced, safety property of 2700 sqm with flat grounds in a quiet area, easy inside parking. Our large property is perfect for a family meeting, several idyllic terraces around the villa, 270 sqm living space, 6 or on request 7 bedrooms, 5 or 6 bath with WC + Pool house, garden kitchen at pool, tennis table, petanque, sand pit. STUDIO bedroom 7 on request

In the 2700 sqm G A R D E N with total privacy, nice views to the hills and to the historic eagle nest village of Cabris, a panoply of typical "provençal" flowers, many olive trees of more than 200 years age, heatable pool 11 x 5 m with a large grass area in this fenced garden section, easy for small children, Pool shower, table tennis, sand pit, petanque (jeu de boules), very well fitted outside kitchen next the pool area with 2 fridges, oven, dish-washer, 4 gaz hobs, dryer, coffeemachine, BBQ, Pool house with shower, next to it terrace with 2 tables. Three more idyllic TERRACES at South, East, North-West side with all together 6 tables , 28 garden chairs, 12 desk-chairs, 6 ombrellas. Parking area for 5 cars Inside the property near the house.

LIVING SPACE 270 sqm: DOUBLE-sitting-room with satellite TV, DVD + CD players, fire place, second sitting-DINING-room extensible table for 10-12 with direct exit to south garden terrace via 3 sliding doors, next to it very well equipped double- KITCHEN South + EAST exit with dining area 6-8 pers, 2 fridges, 1 freezer, oven, micro wave, 4 gaz hobs, dish-washer, washing machine, toaster, 2 coffee maker

6 BEDROOMS (during the very high season 6 fans for the bedrooms). There is 1bedroom on the main-level, double-bed 180 wide and bath, WC en suite, 5 others on first floor with 4 bathrooms, each with WC (3 double and 7 single beds all together )are sleeping 13 pers, + independant WC in house entrance. In case you would need more living space, on request possibility to rent in addition (but always for a maximum of 13 people all together) an independant 22sqm-studio with access up from North-west terrace. It stays normally closed and inoccupied.

About Inge Durand

In 1982 the whole family has decided to leave the busy PARIS and we have bought our lovely property the same year. Since several years a part of the family is back to Paris but our property in Peymeinade is still the meeting point for our family meetings.

Why Inge Durand chose Peymeinade

We have choosen Peymeinade because of the nice, quiet area, the pretty hilly country side, not too far away from a bigger town, easy access to the beaches Cannes or Mandelieu as well as to the mountains within 30 minutes drive (only 5 km to Grasse, 16 km to Cannes, to Nice -Airport 35 km). There is also a big lake « Lac de Saint-Cassien » with water sport activities at the west side of Peymeinade, about 15 km far away. All these advantages have been important for our decision.

And... the possibility to walk to the center of the village up from the property. In former times our villa has been a farm house with wild land around for the production of olive oïl and cultuvating roses and jasmine for the perfumers in Grasse. We have enlarged and rénovated the property and are still loving it.

We all got home safely and everyone has said that the very much enjoyed staying in your beautiful house. It was great to have such a lovely garden and such a range of facilities. We thought the garden kitchen was a great asset and we eat all our meals on the tables next to it.

You will find everything you need because this property has been the main residence of the owner's family. The kitchen-equipment is perfect in the main kitchen as well as in the outside summer kitchen. Anyhow, if you miss something the responsible person of the property can help. Beautiful house in convenient location.

We (a family: 5 adults, 4 children) had great time in house in Peymeinade. Inge is very kind and really thinks with you. The weather was not so good the days prior to our arrival and she communicated with us the best way to preheat the pool. It worked and we used the swimmingpool for hours every day despite the cold nights and occasional rain. She even bought my son (and all the others :-)) a present on his birthday!! Great plus is the outside kitchen with sufficient plates, pans and cutlery. You don't have to walk in and out with all the plates, because there's a dishwasher inside and also one outside!

The house is big. We didn't even use all the bedrooms. Surroundings beautiful and there's a lot to do and visit. We really enjoyed it.

Excellent villa for a group of friends

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in this beautiful villa which was perfect for a group of friends. The villa itself was very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped both indoors and outdoor kitchen and BBQ with everything we could possibly need for a weeks stay. The pool and outside seating areas were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed winding down and relaxing by the pool after a day out, followed by eating outside in the evening.

The villa is very well positioned, being walking distance to the supermarket and to the small town of Peymeinade where there is a good selection of boulangeries for the early morning coffee and croissant! A little further afield, but not far there are many different, interesting places to visit including Grasse and Antibes which are easily reachable by car and train.

Inge the owner was always very helpful both during the holiday planning stage and whilst we were staying in the house ensuring we had everything we needed.

A fantastic holiday but a week wasn't long enough!

Exceptional large house

We had wonderful 2 weeks at mas de l'origan. It is an ideal property for an extended family such as ours and easily accommodated 11 of us with much room to spare. The photos really don't do the house justice. It's location makes it perfect for relaxing (which we took full advantage of give the exceptional heat during our stay), but also for trips to beaches and villages in Provence,. It is the best equipped house we have ever rented - we would challenge anyone to find something that isn't provided in the kitchens, garden or house! Inge is more than helpful and most welcoming. A wonderful holiday in a special house.

Excellent choice for a large family

We have spent a fabulous week in September enjoying the villa and its amenities. The house was great, very clean and well equipped, I would say even more luxurious than the description and photographs. The spacious grounds with different garden areas and 3 terraces with tables around the property is an excellent choice for large family groups.

The landscape with the wonderful olive trees and nice flowers incorporating the fenced magnificent always clean swimming pool was beautiful. Everybody loved the views to the hills and to the eagle nest village of Cabris. The fully equipped out door kitchen was a must, used every day, especially for breakfast and lunch with view to the pool just in front. The evenings we had dinner at the nice stone table area nearer to the villa entrance, a charming place, or we went out for dinner to good restaurants in walking distance in the village of Peymeinade.

The children enjoyed the games like badminton, bochia, even table tennis was available.

We had the best of times and hope we will have another opportunity to spend a next holiday at this wonderful estate. Also many thanks to the owner Inge. She has been a wonderfull host and we have very much appreciated her tips for discovering the area.

Family Holiday 2013

We recently stayed at this superb Villa for my "special"birthday, our party consisted 10 people including our 4 grandchildren.

It was easily the best family holiday we have had, mainly due to the quality and facilities available.

It was beautifully appointed with enough bedrooms for us all, each complete with showers/baths or both.

The outside BBQ and kitchen was also great, and the fridges and dishwasher in the outside kitchen were very useful.

The swimming pool was brilliant, and was large enough to have a proper swim at just the right tempereture, after swimming we were able to step from pool and shower in the outside shower area, and the shower had hot water.

The children loved the pool and the outside table tennis, and we all played Boules

and Badminton every day.

The facilities were so good that we ate in most days, although there was plenty of information at the Villa describing local restaurants,and places places to visit, also supermarket within walking distance.

Nothing was too much trouble for the owner Inge, who was available should we have required any assistance.

Have already recommended this villa to our friends, it was brilliant, hope to return another year.

Family Holiday

We spend 2 weeks with members of our families (13 people, plus a 3 month old baby) in this beautiful home..

The Renter from the word "Go" was ever so helpful with any aspect of our stay and travel. She worried about everybodies best privacy in the home and suggested which room in the house works best for each couple. She help with taxi arrangements from Nice to Peymeinade. She made sure the house was always clean and everything was in best working conditions. She even made an appointment for a doctor and accompanied us to the doctors office.

All in all the ownwer went out of her way to accomodate in all our needs

Thank you so much for everything.

The house was wonderful. The garden fabulous and the pool magnificent.

We each had our own spacious bedroom and private bathroom. The children had a large bedroom with room for a provide baby crib. The kitchen had all the appliances and plenty of dishes. A large dining table for all of us was there if we needed indoor dining. The nicely appointed living room had a large flatscreen TV and we enjoyed most of the soccer games during the European championship.

Free Satelite phone and Internet was also available.

Outdoor living was at it's best. The large pool was used consatntly during the hot hours of the day (we only had a sprinkle of rain on one day). The very spacious grounds allowed for games of bochia, badminton, etc, even table tennis was available. The fully eqiuiped our door kitchen was great to complement food preparation for the meat cooked on the charcoal BBQ. And the beer in the fridge was always cold.

The landscape with the wonderful Olive trees and nice flowers was beautiful.

Peymeinade is a good location to start day trips to the Cote Azur and into the interior. Most sites were rached with a 30 - 40 minute drive.

Grocery shopping and dinning was within walking distance.

We had the best of times and hope we will have another opportunity to spend a holiday at this wonderful estate.

PEYMEINADE (7500 habitants) is situated 5 km west side from GRASSE, World capital of perfume, 16 km drive to Cannes and beaches, to Nice Airport 35 km. PEYMEINADE is a good departure point for visiting the Côte d'Azur because you can reach very quickly the high way A8 via the fast road 12 km to CANNES or via our nice country side leading to the lake de Saint-Cassien where is the A8 exit no 39 " LES ADRETS DE L'ESTEREL" Many historic villages are nearby around in our area like CABRIS, Valbonne, Gourdon, Vence. You reach the the large lake "Lac de St-Cassien" with water sport possibilities within about 20 minutes drive from the west side of Peymeinade.

You access to the property via a small quiet private street (dead end) "Figuiers des Termes" desserving several properties. Also, up from our villa (see photo entrance gate) you can walk to the center of our village with all facilities. 1 km distance to the center and on the way, just 400 m far from the villa, a supermarket and restaurants

BOOKING CONDITIONS: To pay only in EUROS, on booking 25 % deposit of the total renting amount, balance of 75 % 6 weeks before arrival date. Bank-transfert or credit card-transaction fees have to get paid by renter, can be deducted up from the refundable security deposit on departure day.
The indicated weekly renting prices are studied for the villa with 6 bedrooms for a maximum of 13 people including small children.
-Additional fees: -participation Final cleaning € 230, TOWELS in option = a set of 3 towels per person different sizes € 10. Reasonnable Electricity consumption until 100 € per week included in renting price, all over to pay in addition, (pool can be heated via an electrical heating pump).
-Security deposit to pay cash on arrival = € 500 for 1-week stay, € 800 for a 2 weeks stay, returned on departure after deduction of eventual extra fees.
The renter agrees beeing responsable for eventual damages occurred by his fault during his stay.
IMPORTANT: As our villa is situated in a quiet residential area, we cannot accept the organisation of EVENTS, NIGHT PARTIES or WEDDINGS
