About Melanie Warburton
When I travel, I always want to stay somewhere better and a bit quirkier than my own home. So I have used my experience to provide a lovely, sparkling, home from home house for people to enjoy on their trip to Chester and the surrounding area. On a personal note, it's a real pleasure to read all the lovely things my guests have had to say, and know I helped them enjoy their stay. It is all a very personal mission to make sure I continue to provide a top stay for our guests.

Why Melanie Warburton chose Cheshire West and Chester
Location, location, location. Sparklingly clean and beautifully presented, perched on the edge of the Roman Walls. You can relax as you enjoy this oasis of calm on the canal, follow the tow paths, explore the Roman Walls, walk into town to see the Victorian Rows, walk to the race course. Take a taxi to the Zoo or Cheshire Oaks shopping. The high standard of finish at the House at Waters Edge is often commented on by the guests. We have made sure the house has everything you need for an easy and comfortable stay. The locations is great for the central shopping and cultural area. I have three properties consistently ranked in the top 10 for Chester.

Wet weekend in Chester
Had a great time despite the weather and the property helped with that. Certainly not too far out of the city centre and close to most attraction. Would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone wanting a quality property to stay in a for a few days. Might be a bit cramped for 6 adults over a longer period.
Thank you for saying you thoroughly recommend the House at Waters Edge. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. I like to ensure three couples have a good sized double bedroom, with storage, and a bathroom each. The house is arranged with well equipped living and cooking spaces on the first floor, looking out on to the canal and Roman Walls.
Thank you for your visit and see you soon.
Waters Edge stay
This is a lovely property. It is attractive and well equipped. I was particularly pleased with the well equipped kitchen. Melanie could not have been more helpful or kind. A truly wonderful lady. Any potential renter should be aware that the house is on three floors but unless they are physically impaired this is no problem. The walk into the town center takes very little time but is up a gentle incline.
We would enthusiastically recommend this property.
Hello Bill and Nancy - I was checking my emails and found this lovely review from you. Thank you, that's so kind.
We missed you two from the moment you left and we hope to welcome you back again one day when the we can enjoy our travels overseas again.
Sending warmest wishes,
We had a great stay in this lovely house. Five minutes from the city centre and exactly as described. Owner was really flexible and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Thank you for your lovely review. I'm glad the house at Waters Edge worked for you and your family. Thank you for being a great guest.
All the best for 2020.
A good apartment in an excellent location for the city. The view of the Scout Hut from the lounge is not what we were lead to believe by the description.
I’m glad to know that you had such a lovely time and enjoyed your celebration at Waters Edge, with the house working well for you and your guests.
I’m surprised you weren’t keen on the community building as it’s such a jolly looking place and the nautical architecture adds to the canal. You’re the first to ever comment but I’m happy to take it on board.
The property was in a great location for the town centre. The house itself was beautiful and absolutely spotless. It had everything you could think of, complementary bread, butter, tea, coffee etc including a cupboard full of cooking essentials. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Hello and Happy New Year, Michelle. I just wanted to catch up and thank for coming to stay. I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit to the House at Waters Edge. Fingers crossed, you'll decide to return in 2020.
Set in the city centre, with all amenities close by. No need for a car as everything is within easy walking distance with a choice or walking along the Roman Walls, or along the roads.
