Comfortable and beautifully presented house. Good location for visiting the surrounding countryside.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. Six of us ( 3 couples) stayed here for a mid week break/family reunion. The cottage had everything we needed and we loved the beautiful views. Only drawback for us were the small beds in two of the three bedrooms which would be fine for single people or for children. As older couples we would have slept better on king-size beds but realise that the room size is restrictive. This did not stop us from thoroughly enjoying our stay at this lovely home which is a credit to its owners. Thank you.
Amazing cottage in a beautiful setting
From the moment we arrived at this lovely cottage, we knew we were going to have a wonderful stay.
The cottage was so beautifully decorated, we felt like we were in our own boutique hotel. The bedrooms were perfect for our family, even with a toddler and a newborn, we were supplied with a cot and were all very comfortable.
The bathrooms were of a very high standard, and tastefully designed with plenty of space.
Living space downstairs is open plan, and in cold weather has a wood fire burner which kept us nice and warm.
Kitchen is well designed and we enjoyed having breakfast at the breakfast bar.
Pontesbury itself is a vibrant village with superb scenery and friendly locals.
We can highly recommend a butter bun from Hignetts!
Thank you to the lovely owners for making our stay amazing.
