Why Owner chose Saint-Gervais-les-Bains
We have been coming to Saint Gervais summer and winter for the last 8 years (Chris for considerably longer!) and we love the town, the mountains, the scenery, the ease of access from Geneva. We love the "Frenchness" of the resort - it is not overrun with foreign nationals even in the height of the ski or summer season. Yet within 15 minutes you can be in the glamorous resorts of Chamonix or Megeve. You can be in Italy or Switzerland in less than an hour. We wanted a place of our own and the apartment is just perfect. New enough to be modern, yet old enough to be established.

We work hard to ensure you have the best experience during your stay with us, and will try as much as we can to accommodate your needs. You will be welcomed in person on arrival and the apartment will be fully prepared for your arrival. We have thought carefully of the things we think will make a difference to your stay, providing little extras. Per week we will provide, in way of a 'welcome pack': a bottle of wine, tea and coffee, good quality hand soap in bathroom and kitchen and shower gel, fairy liquid, dish washer tablets, bin liners, kitchen roll, loo paper x 3, and some cleaning products.

Nice and well located flat for skiing
This 2 bedroom flat was just perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Location just next to ski lift and an easy walk to town centre is very convenient. The flat was very warm even though we experienced temperatures well below -10. Melanie had repaired everything ready for our arrival to have easy start for our holiday. The flat has all those little things in place that you always forget to take with you. Many thanks Melanie for enjoyable holiday.
Charming, clean, spacious, in perfect location.
We spent six nights in Melanie and Christopher’s apartment, located a stones throw from the main Saint Gervais ski lift. The location was fantastic, providing easy access to the town centre, with quaint shops, restaurants, and cafes. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable with fantastic views. We are already talking about our next trip, and would highly consider staying here again! Apartment in superb quiet location with superb views of Mont Blanc.
Clean, comfortable and excellent location
The apartment is in a lovely position with two balconies giving great views of the mountains. It was really comfortable with everything we needed, comfortable bed, small but more than adequate kitchen and everything sparkling clean! We enjoyed using the little swimming pool. It was an easy walk into the town for shopping and lots of choice for eating out, and just two minutes to a brilliant boulangerie. I also realised that there is a little (free) town bus from from the telepherique - very useful. Lovely walks close by and lots happening in the town too. A great two weeks there. Excellent location for family spring skiing!
We have just spent a lovely week in Saint Gervais with our two teenage boys. The position of the apartment close to the ski lifts was perfect for spring skiing as we could fall out of our apartment and be on the first lift of the day to get the best conditions. It was also only a short walk to a boulangerie and also to town meaning we didn't need to use a car to get around.
We have previously stayed in other apartments which are not privately owned and this apartment reminded us why privately owned apartments are so much better
The property was well maintained and the local contact was very helpful. Comfortable sofas and beds, good quality bed linen and towels, British TV, private internet and well stocked for kitchen implements (even if the kitchen is tiny!). Provisions of essential items such as soap, dishwasher tablets and tea and coffee also very helpful.
The apartment is small but no smaller than other apartments we have stayed in Saint Gervais and was much better equipped.
Great for two perfect location
Great little apartment for two. Second bedroom wasn't needed. WiFi poor after 7pm and really noisy fridge were only two negatives. Right next to ski lift so it was effortless to get up to the slopes. Big block but little disturbance from neighbours. Would recommend especially if Internet issue can be resolved.
Saint Gervais is on the slopes of Mont Blanc. Ski lifts and the Mont Blanc Tramway provide high mountain access.
Linen and towels included in your stay. Apartment will be prepared for you and beds will be made up ready for your arrival. Per week we will provide, in way of a 'welcome pack': a bottle of wine, tea and coffee, good quality hand soap in bathroom and kitchen and shower gel, fairy liquid, dish washer tablets, bin liners, kitchen roll, loo paper x 3, and some cleaning products. Reasonable cleaning included at the end of your stay, on the basis the apartment is left tidy, and all bins are left empty, and beds are stripped with sheets left folded. You will be met at the apartment, by friendly English speaker on arrival, shown around and given two sets of keys. Arrivals after 10pm will have an extra charge of £30. Any lost keys will be charged. We are flexible on change over days and welcome avoiding the weekends. We will try as much as we can to accommodate your needs. Cancellation policy: A full refund of all amounts paid is made in the event that notice of cancellation is received more than one month prior to check-in. For cancellation after one month prior to check-in no refund is due but in the event that the property is re-let a discretionary refund may be made.
