Absolutely the best location in Palm Springs (closest single family home in relation to downtown Palm Springs). Eat at one of Palm Spring's most famous restaurants; Viceroy, Melvyn's, Spencer's, Wangs. Go shopping, see a movie, spoil yourself at a day spa, take in the art museum, visit a gallery, try your luck at the casino, go on a hike or refuel yourself at one of the many local coffee houses. ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE! If you still have the energy once the evening comes, go around the corner to one of the may bars, nightclubs or restaurants. Arenas Road is only a half a block away. No car needed!

Great Home Super Location - Perfect Palm Springs get-away home

Wow this home is an absolute pleasure to stay while visiting Palm Springs. So close to downtown we walked more than we got in our cars.

Everything about this home is convenient and easy, the location, kitchen, pool and spa, tv's and the internet.

The rooms are very comfortable and if you want to stay in some nights the owners have left board games and other fun things to do. The backyard is so private we felt like we had our own Resort, no worries just Fun,Fun, Fun.

Love the location

Had a great time at La Casita over the holidays! Downtown restaurants and bars were just a short walk away and a short stumble back home. Starbucks was also a short walk in the morning. The backyard was a perfect retreat in the afternoon to reenergize your senses. The house has great charm and is in a very quiet area given its close proximity to downtown. We look forward to staying here again.

Charming house in the most perfect location

The number one benefit to La Casita is the location -- only two short blocks walk to the main shopping street and the heart of Palm Springs. After that the other benefits range from the abundance of song birds and hummingbirds to the refreshing backyard pool to the comfy hammocks. We were especially impressed by the landscaping which is both attractive and appropriate for the desert. The interior of the house feels bigger than it really is -- we were all adults sharing three bedrooms and two bathrooms without a problem. The office is really responsive and obviously interested in providing good service --and they did. The neighbourhood is safe and with everything within a short walk so there's no excuse not to explore the many sites the city has to offer. A special place all in all.

Great central location and beautiful property

The house is accurately described and pictures on site bang on. The back yard, pool and spa spectacular. Used the lime fruits from the yard to make wonderful margaritas. If you want to frequent a large chain grocery store you will need a car or public transit. Airport is 5 minutes away, perfect. Even though centrally located, it's a quiet neighbourhood. The home is well equipped and appointed. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Close-in & private

Stayed here for a week of sunshine and daily pool use. Walking distance (2 blocks) to the main street with its restaurants, shops & other attractions. Property is accurately shown in the pictures, and is well-maintained. For 2 persons, the house was amply large. Off-street parking was a plus, as we used the rental car far less than at other locations. Supermarkets, though, are not nearby, and transportation is necessary for grocery shopping.

RELAXING HOME, CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN

My family and I recently stayed here for my 60th birthday. We totally enjoyed ourselves. The house is beautifully decorated in a Spanish style. The yard was full of hummingbirds and butterflies along with 2 comfy hammocks. The location could not be better, a very short walk to Palm Canyon Drive and all the restaurants and nightlife. We will definitely be returning!
