A lovely and spacious (1956 Sq. Ft) single level villa. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with new carpets. Located in the quiet, prestigious secure gated community of Calabay Parc at Tower Lake. The villa is bright and airy, has two master suites containing king size beds and en-suites, both with direct access to the pool deck. The pool area has an informal breakfast table, there are 6 pool chairs and 4 sun loungers to make the most of the private, secluded, south facing pool. The pool, spa and patio are enclosed by a Lanai (insect screen) and during the winter months the water can be heated at extra cost.

There are two twin bedded rooms which share a family bathroom. All bedrooms contain ample storage space and new flat screen TV’s with cable. Additionally, the twin rooms have DVD players. These rooms are at the front of the house, making them more secure against children getting into the pool area unsupervised, they can be further secured with a child gate if required. There is also a removable “Kiddie Catcher” around the pool for added peace of mind.

The hub of the property is the central, fully equipped kitchen with a four ring grill, oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and twin sinks with garbage disposal. A toaster and coffee maker is also provided for your use. There are bar stools at the kitchen counter. A formal dining area with table and chairs lies adjacent to the kitchen itself.

There is a snug area with a comfortable bed settee, large screen TV and PS3 games console separated from the main living area, there are also headphones provided so the noise from the games area does not invade the main living area, which itself has luxurious sofas with coffee tables and lamps. An iPod dock, DVD player and 40” LED TV with cable channels is provided for your entertainment pleasure.

The garage has a fan for warm days and is converted to a game room with a pool table and foosball. There are bicycles and fishing equipment for your use. There is also a high chair, buggy and stroller. A full size crib can be supplied if required.

The villa is in an excellent location standing just a minutes stroll from Tower Lake which has excellent bass fishing and a small boat jetty, from which you can enjoy the lovely Florida sunsets. For golfers the marvellous Southern Dunes public golf course is a two minute drive away, the Ridgewood Lakes course is also very close by, with Champions Gate and Highlands Reserve a few minutes drive beyond. A huge Walmart Supercentre and Lowes are literally walking distance.

Restaurants including the highly regarded Manny’s Chop House are close by. Fast food outlets such as Dairy Queen, McDonalds, KFC, plus Walgreens, Winn Dixie and Publix Supermarket are all within a few minutes drive.

Posner Park Shopping Centre and the I4 are realistically a maximum of 10 minutes away. From there it is only another 10 minutes to the start of the Disney Exits or 20 minutes into Orlando itself, with all its attractions such as Seaworld, Universal Studios and International Drive. The international airport is about 35 minutes way in total. LEGOLAND is an easy 20 minute drive.

Daytona Beach and the Gulf coast are just over an hours drive, as is Tampa, Clearwater and St Petes Beach. It is also possible to reach the Everglades in 3-4 hours.

We currently live in Bedford, UK. After a few visits to Florida we fell in love with it and decided to plan for a retirement out there. We began looking at properties and fell in love with this property, it is in great condition and was the only one of the 20 or so we viewed that actually looked like the photo's. It is on a quiet community with everything we could wish for close by. Travelling to and from the property is easy too, only 2 major roads are required to get almost anywhere in the state. Being a tad further out mileage wise means there are no real traffic headaches and it is just as quick to get to the parks from Calabay Parc as it is Davenport.

LOVED IT !!! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT !

I loved staying here ! This home is immaculate . Everything in it seems brand new . The pictures don’t do it justice ! The bedrooms are a great size . The closets , you could fit whole families in there they are that big. Absolutely loved the master bathroom. ( the water pressure for the shower was the best !)kids loved how the towels were folded into swans 😊?

Loved having coffee every morning sitting by the pool under the fan . So relaxing . Also loved how there Is privacy all around the pool from the neighbors from the shrubbery . ( neighbors were noisy one night out at their pool till 2am but its vacation so it wasn’t that big of a deal . Other than that , it’s very quiet )

The kids loved the pool and the game room .

There were plenty of pool floats . My son and husband road the bikes around the neighborhood . The kitchen , oh my goodness , it had everything!!! Crock pot , wine glasses , every pot pan , utensil you would need . Everything seemed brand new .

Towels ! Extra blankets ! Loved how it was in a gated community , felt more secure ! I have to say the decor in the house is beautiful . Each day I noticed a different picture in the house . And loved them all ( my favorite was the Forrest Gump on the bench 😊?)

.i have stayed at many houses. This is my favorite and can’t wait to stay here again next time I’m in Florida!

Property - Fabulous! Owners - Not so much!

1st, let me say the house was wonderful & we had a great vacation despite ALL the mishaps. We made a reservation for 8 nights, paid in full, our 1st Disney trip! A few days before we we left, I received an email from the owners stating that they accidentally overbooked the house, their calendars didn't sync. Ok, that's fine - what now? Our option was to move to another property for the whole time, or move the last night to a hotel. None of the other properties offered what we had at this house - pool, hot tub, game room - so we opted for the hotel stay - even though, we would be put out on our last full day there, and have place to go until check-in(4:00pm). I understand mistakes happen, so I was . In my emails back & forth with the owners, they kept stating that it was "their fault", and that they would compensate us and put us up at a hotel at "no cost to us". It would be at "their expense" for "their mistake". Ok, sounds great. They did offer to heat the pool, which we originally did not request. We picked a hotel & they made our reservation. I emailed back one more time, to see when/how we would get reimbursed for Saturday night, seeing as I had already paid them. I was told that I would not get a refund, because they offered to heat the pool, and they payed for the hotel. Now getting frustrated - I stated that this was NOT A REIMBURSEMENT. They DID NOT put us up at THEIR expense. I already paid for it! So they only paid the difference ($40-50), and again - no compensation for us being put out ALL day, with no where to go from 10am-4pm. Their response was "We're sorry you feel that way. We could have cancelled your whole reservation." Ohh! Great customer service skills. Having 3 kids, tickets to Disney World and Sea World, we didn't want to ruin our vacation, so we packed up & headed down. House, pool, neighborhood - all great! In our contract, it also stated we would have access to a gas BBQ grill, which was chained up in the garage. I emailed them, & called the management company, to see how to access it, as we had already bought hamburger/hot dogs. My response was no, we were not allowed to use it because of previous tenants. Bu**Sh**!!! It was because the owners were still bitter over their own mistake and didn't like being called out on it! Thank god for the management co that takes care of the property cause the owners suck!! Keep an eye out for their names - go elsewhere!! I know I will!!!

Owner's Response: Firstly, thank you for your review, we are glad you liked the property. However we would respond to some of your distorted, untrue and possibly slanderous comments as follows: There was a mishap, the calendars didn’t sync. We were away when your initial booking came through, so accepted it, as it should not be possible to double book. As soon as we realised, we contacted you and offered a choice of solutions. We would find you an alternative property in the same area / development and we would pay whatever was needed, we sent details of 7 or 8 different properties, all of which you rejected for some reason or another, a lot of them far more expensive than ours. The second option was you stay for 7 nights and then spend the final night in a hotel of your choice at our cost. The final option was to cancel and refund in full so you could find an alternative yourself. You chose to the 7 nights & hotel, to reduce your inconvenience we arranged for an early check in/ bag drop for you, to avoid “hanging around all day” & explained clearly to you that the compensation was the pool & spa heat for free, you had seen on the alternative properties details, this ranged in cost from $153 - $175 per week. You accepted this as the best solution for you but now don’t seem able to grasp the fact that heating the pool is expensive and we paid for it not you. Additionally the hotel you chose was $75 more than the rate you paid for our property. All as explained to you in email exchanges. We couldn’t apologise enough, it had never happened before, and we bent over backwards to correct it. There is no bitterness but your comment about “calling us out” reveals a lot. The gas BBQ was never an option, it isn’t in the property details, because it was brand new but due to misuse by previous guests, we had to withdraw it. Guests were using it under the lanai, which stains the pool deck & walls plus also not cleaning it, when we visited it took us the good part of a day to clean, so we didn’t want to do again. It is under a cover & locked. There is however a portable one outside the property for guest use. We believe this will also cook hot dogs & hamburgers! We feel that whatever we did for you was never going to be enough, we are sure that people reading your review compared to the others we have received will see that. We will not stoop to your level of personal abuse and the use of expletives but are more than happy you will not be returning

Clean; well-furnished; great pool and hot tub

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The pool and hot tub were a fantastic way for us to unwind after a long day at the parks. This property was everything as described, minus the fishing gear. The game room area was a fun place and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. A tip: laundry and dish detergent is not supplied so be sure to bring or buy your own. WalMart is only a mile down the road. We would definitely consider staying here again. Thanks Alex and Mick!

Great

The house was very well set up and clean. All the basics were available. Location was easy to find and grounds were secure. Great place for a family vacation. My one recommendation would be a hand rail for easier access to the pool, as it was hard for elderly to get in and out of. All and all I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling.

Spacious, well equipped, great location - a perfect place to stay!

Great villa. Very well equipped with everything you need apart from your luggage and a quick trip to the supermarket for food/drink! This is the fourth villa we've rented in this location (Calabay Parc) for our Florida vacation and once again we weren't disappointed. A safe (gated) community just a stones throw, quite literally, from major shops, supermarkets, shopping areas and some great restaurants, but wonderfully quiet so you can relax in peace around the pool. Calabay Parc at Tower Lakes is without doubt on of the best locations in Florida... just over an hour from Tampa and Orlando airports, located just off US27 and 10 minutes from the I4 with easy access to Disney and just about anywhere else in central Florida. The villa is spacious and comfortable and everything anyone should need, whether you're planning an active holiday and going out and about to all the local attractions, or just intending to spend time relaxing. Alexandria and Michael (the property owners) were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions, and there's a management team nearby if you have any problems (which we didn't) while you're there. Highly recommended for just about every reason and, subject to availability when we next return to Florida, a villa that's definitely on our list!
