This traditional, stone built cottage has been carefully modernised and provides attractive and comfortable accommodation for four people in two bedrooms, a double and a twin, on the first floor together with a large bathroom. The ground floor provides a spacious, stone flagged kitchen/diner and a large sitting room with feature bay window and log burner. The kitchen/diner provides an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Free, unlimited wifi is available in the property The sitting room includes a sofa bed which can accommodate extra guests. Outside there are flagged areas to front and rear with view of the Church and over the dale. The Pennine Way passes the front door and the welcoming pubs and shops of Hawes are less than a minute's walk away. The famous Wensleydale creamery is a short stroll away across the open fields above the cottage. There is free parking adjacent to the cottage and throughout the town. The House on the Hill provides a perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales yet with all the facilities of the town of Hawes literally on the doorstep.
The cottage is available from 4 pm on day of arrival , we request you vacate the property by 10 am on day of departure.
