Truman’s Hideout is located at 29 Quincy Circle, Santa Rosa Beach, FL, 32459, Unit B on the 2nd Floor, in the upscale community of Seaside. Truman’s Hideout is only steps away from the many shops of Seaside, the amphitheater, and directly across 30A from one of Seaside’s beach accesses and the famous Bud & Alleys Restaurant.
Conveniently located between the cities of Destin and Panama City Beach, Seaside is one of the many exclusive neighborhoods along 30-A. Sidewalks and green areas surround Seaside, and are perfect for walking, jogging, and biking to nearby restaurants and shops.
Truman’s Hideout is a 2BR/2BA condo with elevator access that sleeps 6 comfortably. As you enter the condo you walk into a spacious living room that has an open kitchen (bar seating for 3 only) with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. The living area has a Queen sleeper sofa for your extra guests and the stackable washer/dryer are hidden in a closet just before the hallway. The shared bathroom has a stand up shower and door to the Queen Guest bedroom. The Queen Master is across the hall with its own private bath.
The condo comes with Free WiFi as well.

This condo is perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4. Great price for what you get! Nice kitchen, and bedrooms with private baths and tvs. Parking is slightly cumbersome with any condo in Seaside, however once we found a spot we didn't need to move it as everything you need is walking distance anyway! The beaches are great, the town is fun and you can't beat this location. Had a great stay!
Obviously Seaside is and was a blast. The location of the condo is great although if you move your car during the day, forget about finding a parking spot when you get back. No parking pass or location makes this condo tough.
Bottom line, cleanliness was terrible. Carpet was disgusting.
Although I loved the location, I would be hard pressed to rent from you again.
The 5% discount offer you just sent me would have saved me $75.00 on a $2k rental bill for three days while I couldn't stand to be inside without shoes on.
Seriously, there are so many places to stay inside Seaside, but this place is in the heart of all the action. Literally steps from the main circle, shopping, food carts, ocean, and restaurants are easy access. The actual condo is maintained well for a rental that sees many many travels throughout the year...so keep that in consideration. I definitely WILL stay here again and again, as the price is amazing for location and quality of condo. We had an issue getting locked out of the condo, and within the hour, someone was there to help us get in. Not only that, but they delivered milk and beignets to our door the next day! Seriously, the most accommodating managers ever! They well overcompensated for the minor fluke. Also, a week later, we had thought we had left something in the condo of major importance. They did not hesitate to investigate for us. In the end, it was our mistake, as we didn't realize where we packed it, and they were amazingly compassionate. I just felt the service in the management was beyond superior! So, all in all, my husband and I had an amazing anniversary in Seaside and would recommend again and again!!!
Location is excellent - close to everything, steps from beach. Here are the things that need to be addressed to make it wonderful, and grant a repeat stay:
Thorough cleaning - rugs are stained pretty badly, haven't seen this in all our stays at 30A
Fix leaking ceiling (A/C leaking in kitchen) - property mgr said they'd send someone by, never saw anyone or got any follow-up
Fix baseboards separating from walls
Correctly equip kitchen - this is echoed in another review
Clean/launder comforters and upgrade bedding/pillows - we ended up purchasing our own pillows
Provide beach towels as other rentals do
Add slipcover to old couch
Add some decorative touches - looks like condo was stripped down
Again, rental could be awesome if it was better maintained/equipped.
We stayed here with another couple for a week and we highly recommend it! It is an AMAZING location and you don't have to drive anywhere in Seaside. You're one building away from downtown seaside with the amphitheater and food places and RIGHT across the street from the beach with easy access.
The place was nicely kept. Wifi was great. Property managers were quick to answer any questions we had. Having access to the Seaside pool was great too! It's a short .2 mile walk (or can drive :) and was VERY nice.
Only downside is the pans and knives were pretty old and use and bent up, but we get it that the owners wouldn't want to put their best stuff in there for renters... but still :) Also, with all of the downtown visitors, parking was hard to find if we ever left early afternoon and came back in the evening, so we recommended to the staff to add in a designated parking place like the other rental up top has.
Seriously, such a great spot! We would definitely come back to this place!
The condo (Burkes) had kids who had parties every night. I questioned if there was anyone over the age 25 staying with them. Never saw any adults like I did with the other unit the Ritz. After midnight the running up and down the stairs calmed downed. Overall location was fantastic and condo was beautiful.
Would stay again minus the renters in Burkes.
