About the property

The hillside hamlet of Noizeret has 12 houses - half are occupied by locals who are traditional mixed farmers, the others are holiday homes - Swiss, French, Parisians, English - reflecting the picturesque location. The pace of life is dictated by the speed of a tractor. Our property is at the end of a rural cul-de-sac - there is no through traffic. Tranquility is the keyword & the immediate area is particularly panoramic. Furnished to the standards of a second home, particular attention has been given to the self-catering arrangements. Outside, the property offers the opportunity for private relaxation in a beautiful setting.

The Farmhouse which was built around the time of the French Revolution has a fleur de lys carved about the giant stone fireplace. The wood-fired YUTUL stove gives a warming glow to the room in Spring & Autumn The house has free WIFI throughout while the magnificent beamed living/dining room has free WIFI, an extensive CD & DVD collection, French TV, a large library and a landline for incoming/outgoing telephone calls.

The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and most other standard kitchen appliances and equipment.

There are two double bedrooms(one with one-suite) and one twin serviced by a separate bathroom

Laundry facilities are available.

Outside, the south-facing private and exclusive terraces - either in full sunshine or under the dappled shade of trees - offer lovely views of the rolling countryside. An abundance of flowers and herb plants complete the setting.

There is exclusive undercover car parking.

j'ai déjà indiqué au propriétaire que nous avons fait un très bon voyage en Bourgogne et apprécié le calme de son gîte. Et que dans celui ci il serait bon de revoir le système électrique. ( précision pour Abritel : disjoncté deux fois, et surtout plusieurs interrupteurs ne sont pas placés là où il faut, en particulier celui qui permet l'éclairage des trois marches allant dans le couloir des chambres un danger pour les personnes âgées comme mes amies et moi ) . Nous sommes parties chaque jour avant 10h pour ne revenir que vers 20h, avons peu utilisé les ustensiles de cuisine, et n'avons pas été dérangées par le manque de machine à laver le linge, ni par la TV et son "no signal" une fois que l'on arrivait sur la chaîne. Pour nous on pouvait très bien s'en passer.
