Westbeach One is a self-catering studio apartment located in the heart of Woolacombe Bay. From the property's central location, Woolacombe beach is just 1 minute away!

The location is quiet and peaceful during the winter, yet central to the seaside atmosphere during the summer. The main facilities of larger towns such as Ilfracombe and Braunton are just 15 minutes away.

Westbeach One enjoys easy access to all amenities, including several centres for outdoor activities such as climbing and horse riding. For those interested in more leisurely pursuits, the walks along the coastal path are hard to beat.

The local restaurants offer excellent choices of casual and formal dining for those occasions when you'd rather someone else does the catering.

Inside the apartment, the living room forms a focal point for entertainment on days in. Lounge around on the armchair or sofa and make use of the speaker dock for some relaxing music. Alternatively you can settle down in front of the TV and smart Blu-ray player to catch the shows you can't live without. Free wi-fi means you can catch up on all-important social media or work emails (if you must) while you enjoy your break.

The living room leads to the kitchen via the breakfast bar where you can enjoy relaxed meals.

Outside the studio you can store your surfboards and wind breaks in the lock-up board store. It's big enough to handle two long boards, making it perfect for the beach days we hope you'll enjoy.

With one double bed and a single sofa bed, Westbeach One is ideal for couples and small families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

About Mitt and Claire Nathwani

We're a couple from Oxfordshire with a young child. We love the great outdoors and are particular fans of seaside locations, which explains the location of our holiday home in Woolacombe! When we're not busy working or running around with our son, we're normally found either reading, at the beach, or both.

We've been running our apartment as a holiday let since autumn 2015. We hope you'll consider staying at Westbeach One, but wherever you choose to go be sure to have a great break!

It's hard to describe in words quite how convenient it is to step out of the studio and stumble down to the beach but it makes summer holidays and winter surfs so much easier!

What makes this apartment unique

From underfloor heating to free Wifi and a surfboard store capable of holding up to two longboards, this apartment is perfect for couples, small families, surfers, and any mixture of the above.

We were down for two nights for a wedding, and this seemed like good value for three of us. It's a small flat - but bigger than most hotel rooms, half the price, and has a fully-equipped kitchen and a playstation! Easy to find and get in and out of, and the location is perfect right in the centre, so we could just pop back from the wedding do / pub / beach to get changed. Tides Bar is literally next door; Bar Electric round the corner on the same block; the Red Barn and the beach just over the road. Also surprisingly quiet given its location on the main road in. Sadly we weren't their long enough to make much use of the kitchen facilities but it seemed to have everything you'd need and it all looked modern and clean.

very cosy little pad and right in amounst it all, beech 2 mins

This little studio is just perfect, safe, clean, warm and right on the doorstep of the beech and all amenities, the two of us shacked up here for three nights in March, we had a very pleasant stay here although a bit out of season but still plenty of things to do. Totally recommend this studio to couples, and enough room for a child as well, will be booking this again, without a doubt, 5 *

Fantastic

We loved our stay here! The apartment was perfect for the two of us and is kept in excellent condition. Location less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and a minutes walk to the shops. No issues with noise whatsoever. Surfboard storage very useful and the parking arrangements worked fine. Already planning our return next year. Thanks so much!

Great base for exploring.

This is a lovely apartment, ample room for 2 or 3 people. Bed was so comfy, kitchen had everything you need, very modern and the underfloor heating was welcome. Definitely would stay again if we're ever down that way again.

Ideal location

We've been visiting woolacombe for years and usually stay up the hill in morthoe, but seeing this property was available for the long weekend we required we booked it - and what a joy. Very clean, everything you need for self catering, and more than big enough for three. Only downside was the wet room bathroom - looks beautiful, but so impractical with water flooding the bathroom after each shower - an enclosed shower would be far more suitable. Other than that, can't fault the studio. It was even near enough to the beach to call back and use the loo when the queue for the ladies got too long! Would certainly stay again and recommend.
