This 2 bedroom villa is set on an exclusive development of 8 similar detached villas only 100 metres from one of the quiet secluded beaches in Kissonerga. Each villa has been carefully designed in a traditional Mediterranean style reflecting the charm and character of the island and has been teamed with modern interiors and furnishings ensuring a comfortable and relaxed stay.
The ground floor consists of an open plan kitchen/living/dining area. Each villa is equipped with Satellite TV (limited channels) DVD player and hi-fi system. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and the dining table seats 6.
A double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a further twin bedroom with en suite bathroom are located on the first floor. If preferred, a ground floor twin bedroom with en suite facilities can be utilised instead of the first floor twin bedroom with en-suite facilities, please state your preference at time of booking.
All bedrooms and the living area have air conditioning units* for both cooling and heating. A safety deposit box is supplied. A baby cot, highchair, stair gate and hairdryer can be provided on request. Each villa also enjoys wi-fi access.
The 8m x 4m private pool has both walk in steps and ladder access and is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace and well maintained lawned gardens equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and a poolside shower. There is a built in BBQ and separate sink for summer dining al fresco under the shady terrace area outside the kitchen. Each villa has its own private covered parking bay.
These neighbouring villas are situated on a small private road and are ideal for the larger party wishing to holiday together. There is a reception building on site where friendly, helpful family members are happy to provide you with information and assistance during your stay.
Just within 2 minutes walk is a small sandy beach with crystal clear waters.
Furthermore while staying at either of these villas you have the luxury of access to the facilities of the neighbouring
holiday resort free of charge. The facilities include tennis court,
indoor heated swimming pool and gym. Also available is breakfast and the
restaurant and bar all subject to extra charges.
Kissonerga is situated between the beach resort of Coral Bay and the town and harbour area of Paphos. Coral Bay is approximately 4 kilometres away whilst the harbour area of Paphos is approximately 8 kilometres away. Although Kissonerga produces citrus fruits and olives it is probably most well known for the cultivation of banana plantations, easily identified by their characteristic blue bags rustling in the breeze.
Loosely separated into two communities, the coastal area of Kissonerga features several hotels, a couple of mini-markets, a growing number of shops and a small selection of eating places covering everything from meze style dining to dishes with a more international flavour. The main beach for the Kissonerga area is the small sandy cove at Vardas Beach which is great for swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent and a small selection of watersports are available in the summer months.
Set approximately 2 kilometres inland is the residential village with a bank, chemist, two coffee shops, a small high class restaurant and a popular bar where you will find British & locals alike.
Although car hire is highly recommended for all our villas to help you make the most of your stay, there is a bus service that connects Kissonerga with Paphos town and the sandy beach at Coral Bay.
Coral Bay is the well known beach resort for the Paphos district. This family oriented area has become a lively resort with plenty to offer in terms of amenities and activities. The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the busier of the two being the popular Coral Bay Beach, a sandy horseshoe shaped bay honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, watersports are on offer and there are two beach cafés providing refreshments. A little further along the coast is the quieter of the two beaches at Corallia Bay. Continue still further along the coast and you reach the natural rock caves of the area know locally as Sea Caves, an area which provides ideal snorkelling territory and is popular with local scuba diving schools.
Paphos Town once the capital of the island is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Pano Paphos on the cliff, is the main administrative centre and residential district and Kato Paphos, by the sea, built around the harbour and medieval port is the main tourist area.
Exploring Coral Bay, Paphos and everywhere in between, increases the list of available activities and attractions to include mini golf, watersports, go-karting, horse riding, a snooker hall, bowling alley, heritage sites, modern shopping facilities, a waterpark and the Paphos Zoo.
There are 4 golf courses; Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course, Aphrodite Hills Golf Course and Elea Golf Course all within approximately a 30 minute drive.
