This villas well chosen position nestled in the foothills of the Skoulli mountains enjoys stunning views across valleys and rolling hills abundant with fruit orchards and citrus groves. The village of Skoulli has its own well stocked supermarket, taverna and traditional coffee shop.
On entering the villa you find yourself in the living area furnished with sofas, flat screen TV, satellite television (limited channels), DVD player and a small book exchange facility for guests use. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher (the washing machine is located on the first floor landing). The dining table can seat up to 8 persons.
The villa has wireless internet connection.
The first of the bedrooms is found on the ground floor, this is a twin bedded room with an adjacent shower room. Stairs lead to the first floor where the remaining three bedrooms are located. The spacious master double bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi whirlpool bath. The two remaining bedrooms are twin bedded rooms each with en-suite shower facilities. The master double bedroom and one of the twin bedrooms share a balcony that overlooks the swimming pool and beautiful surrounding countryside.
Each bedroom is equipped with air-conditioning for either cooling or heating, which is included in the price. The villa also has the luxury of central heating (see rental rates) for the winter months.
A baby cot and highchair are available.
Outside the impressive freeform heated infinity swimming pool (see rental rates) measures approximately 8m x 13m. Walk in steps allow easy entrance to the cooling waters and two water massage beds entice you to soothe weary muscles.
A table and chairs set under a shady pergola invite you to enjoy summer dining al fresco making full use of the BBQ provided. The carefully tended gardens and lawned areas are bursting with colour and fragrance and the villa grounds are completed with an orangery so breakfast can be enjoyed with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice!
Skoulli village lies on the hillside overlooking a valley of fruit orchards, citrus and olive groves in the heart of a farming community still steeped in the traditional Cypriot way of life.
Evretou Dam is just a few minutes away where fresh water fishing is possible with a licence.
Polis, the principal town for the area, is approximately a 10 minute drive away, and here you can find many cafes, restaurants and shops. Continue driving for a few more minutes and you'll arrive at the seaside resort of Latchi, well known locally for its selection of seafood restaurants. The town of Paphos is approximately a 30 minute drive away.
Just because you prefer to stay inland doesn't mean you have to miss out on the beach experience. The coastal resorts of Polis and Latchi are both within 15 kilometres of the villa and both feature coarse sand and shingle beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas for hire and restaurants/snack bars providing refreshments. If you prefer a more remote option then venture a little further along the coast to the natural stretch of coarse sand, shingle and pebble that runs along the Argaka shoreline. For a day here you will need to bring your own beach mat and umbrella, refreshments can be found at one of the handful of tavernas scattered along the coastal road or you can take a cool box and lunch under the shade of the trees in one of the designated picnic areas.
Polis the principal town for this region huddles around a pedestrianised square, a great place to browse the many shops, enjoy a coffee while watching the world pass by or dine at any of the wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafes which radiate out from the centre.
The seaside resort of Latchi, with its well known sea food tavernas is only a few minutes drive from Polis, and here you will find an array of inviting sea-front tavernas with a superb selection of fresh fish and seafood served daily.
Beyond Latchi you will find the well known 'Baths of Aphrodite' and for the more adventurous explorer the protected Akamas Peninsular with its many walking trails. Take the time to explore some of the villages off the beaten path where you'll discover such delights as village cultural centres and museums, galleries, Churches and wineries with free wine tasting!
Polis and the surrounding villages count bowling, go-karting, fishing, cycling, watersports and scuba diving amongst the many activities on offer to visitors.
The town of Paphos with its World Heritage Sites, modern shopping facilities, waterpark, Paphos Zoo and attractive harbour area is within a 40 minute drive.
