This 4 bedroom villa lies along the coastal road that connects Coral Bay to Paphos and is only 150 metres from the sea and is secluded from any other properties since it is located within a field of 5,000 sq. metres and surrounded by sub tropical banana plantations. The villa offers panoramic views of the bay with its turquoise clear waters and breathtaking sunsets.
The ground floor consists of an open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The living area features a working fireplace and entertainment is provided by a flat screen TV together with satellite TV (limited channels), DVD player and CD/radio/cassette player. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and the dining table seats 8.
Two of the villa's bedrooms are located on the ground floor; one twin bedroom with en suite bathroom and a double bedroom with en suite shower room.
The remaining bedrooms are located on the first floor consisting of a double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom.
Each bedroom and the living area is equipped with an air conditioning unit for both cooling and heating (see rental rates). A safety deposit box is available. Beach towels and a hairdryer are supplied.
A baby cot, highchair, stair gate and camp bed (suitable for a child under the age of 12 years) can be provided on request.
This villa also offers a wireless internet connection.
Outside the villa leading from the patio doors of the living area and the downstairs twin bedroom is a private swimming pool 8m x 4m. The large veranda surrounding the pool is equipped with sun loungers and patio table with chairs. The villa is also equipped with a barbecue for alfresco dining.
Please note: The villa has a set changeover day of a Wednesday during the months of July, August and September.
Die Beschreibung stimmt bis ins kleinste Detail. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich. Das Haus ist sauber und auch das Grundstück wird gepflegt. Poolreinigung erfolgt ebenfalls. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet.
Aufgrund der Wegbeschreibung haben wird die Villa auf Anhieb gefunden. Allerdings katten wir uns mit Alarmanlagen nicht aus, die wurde uns vom Vermieter dann aber erklärt.
Die Villa liegt in einem Vorort von Paphos. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind somit vorhanden. Der Strand ist zu fuss erreichbar. Dort gibt es eine schöne Beachbar, in der auch ab und an Live-Musik gespielt. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten ( wie z.B. Die Königsgräber) und auch der Zoo sind in der Nähe.
Das Wetter war bei unserer Anreise sehr stürmisch (leider auch mit Regen). Allerdings besserte sich das Wetter nach zwei Tagen wieder deutlich. Die Temperaturen lagen dann zwischen 19 und 24 °C.

Kissonerga is situated between the beach resort of Coral Bay and the town and harbour area of Paphos. Coral Bay is approximately 4 kilometres away whilst the harbour area of Paphos is approximately 8 kilometres away. Although Kissonerga produces citrus fruits and olives it is probably most well known for the cultivation of banana plantations, easily identified by their characteristic blue bags rustling in the breeze.
Loosely separated into two communities, the coastal area of Kissonerga features several hotels, a couple of mini-markets, a growing number of shops and a small selection of eating places covering everything from meze style dining to dishes with a more international flavour. There are 2 main beaches for the Kissonerga area, a small sandy cove known as Vardas Beach and also a beach area known as Potima Bay. Potima Bay is within a short walk of the villa. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent at both beaches. Both beaches have a cafe where drinks and food can be purchased.
Set approximately 2 kilometres inland is the residential village with a bank, chemist, two coffee shops, a small high class restaurant and a popular bar where you will find British & locals alike.
Although car hire is highly recommended for all our villas to help you make the most of your stay, there is a bus service that connects Kissonerga with Paphos town and the sandy beach at Coral Bay.
Coral Bay is the well known beach resort for the Paphos district. This family oriented area has become a lively resort with plenty to offer in terms of amenities and activities. The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the busier of the two being the popular Coral Bay Beach, a sandy horseshoe shaped bay honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, watersports are on offer and there are two beach cafés providing refreshments. A little further along the coast is the quieter of the two beaches at Corallia Bay. Continue still further along the coast and you reach the natural rock caves of the area known locally as Sea Caves, an area which provides ideal snorkelling territory and is popular with local scuba diving schools.
Paphos Town once the capital of the island is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Pano Paphos on the cliff is the main administrative centre and residential district and Kato Paphos, by the sea, built around the harbour and medieval port is the main tourist area.
Exploring Coral Bay, Paphos and everywhere in between, increases the list of available activities and attractions to include mini golf, watersports, go-karting, horse riding, a snooker hall, bowling alley, heritage sites, modern shopping facilities, a waterpark and the Paphos Zoo.
There are 4 golf courses; Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course, Aphrodite Hills Golf Course and Elea Golf Course all within approximately a 30 minute drive.
