Ideal central but safe family base for tourism/culture - near Victoria statio

Situated on the upper ground floor (NO STAIRS) of a traditional Victorian building .Within 8 minutes walk of Victoria station and Gatwick Express and within the lively locality of the Pimlico village. A spacious tastefully furnished apartment with a contemporary twist. Perfect for visitors who love the idea of central London living but want a quiet safe and comfortable residential base to relax in at the end of the day. The main living area has 2 comfortable sofas – one of which converts to a double sofa bed with the facility to be screened off for further privacy at night.

For guest entertainment there is TV and free internet access, together with a well stocked library of novels art books and London tourist guides.

The fold away dining table easily seats 5 people for casual meals or elegant dining

There is a fully stocked open plan kitchen with coffee maker,, dishwasher, microwave and all the usual amenities. Together with a combined clothes washer/dryer for guest convenience.

There are 2 spacious double bedrooms, the master having an en suite bath with shower over. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, which can, on advance request be converted to a king size bed. This bedroom is serviced by the family shower room. .Non-allergenic toiletries are supplied

We make a point of welcoming our guests personally - whatever time of the day or night . We are always available in person or phone/email to answer questions or arrange taxis if necessary. Complimentary basic breakfast essentials are supplied for guests on arrival, along with wine and nibbles to get you into relaxed mode

Pimlico has all the major city amenities but with the advantage of a distinct village atmosphere. Locally there is a wide variety of supermarkets, restaurants, bars and specialist food shops. We are a stone's throw away from the iconic Battersea Power Station and Battersea Park – which has a lake, beautiful walks, sporting facilities plus several childrens play areas and a children's Zoo.

Also close proximity to attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Tate Britain, Westminster Abbey and easy bus/tube access to the heart of the West End, museums and galleries and theatre land. Not to mention easy walking distance to retail attractions of Chelsea's Kings Road and Knightsbridge and South Kensington's world famous museums are short ride away.

There is excellent proximity to bus, tube and overground rail to explore London and South East England.

Clean, convenient, beautiful flat

My family and I went to London for the Christmas holidays (two weeks). We absolutely loved our stay in Caroline's flat. The flat itself is very convenient to the Pimlico tube stop, as well as Victoria Station (major tube stop). Caroline has all the little things you would ever need, down to dish soap and Kleenex, and had stocked the small fridge with items for our stay to get us started. She was very quick to respond to questions, and when we had a small issue with the shower drain, the maintenance man came over right away to fix it. Overall, I can't recommend her flat more - we had such a good time and enjoyed the flat very much. Thank you, Caroline!

Perfect Location and lovely flat

We had a wonderful stay in Pimlico. The flat is - as advertised - sophisticated yet cozy, the location offers walking access to countless stores and restaurants and a it's short walk to the tube. Caroline was very responsive, responded to any questions I had before arrival, and John greeted us and showed us around right when we arrived.

Great apartment! Perfect location!

Nicely decorated and well stocked apartment. Caroline even had a supply of snacks, fruit, eggs and bacon for our first breakfast in London. We really appreciated that! The beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was a plus. It is an easy walk to either the Pimlico or Victoria Station tube stops, Victoria Station for trains, or Victoria Coach Station. It’s easy to either walk or take the tube to any site in the city. There is a grocery store and plenty of pubs/restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Caroline checked in on us several times to make sure we were doing ok. Had a minor problem with the heat, which was corrected that same day. Loved this apartment!

Great Experience

Great experience. Location was ideal..easy walk to tube stations. Nice quiet and safe neighborhood with conveniences all around (restaurants, grocery store, etc). Accommodations very nice - perfect for our family of four (including two kids ages 12 and 13). Owner very attentive and responsive. Would definitely book again for our next visit.

A quaint cozy home in a beautiful neighborhood!

The flat was indeed a cozy, comfortable place! We were made very welcome upon our arrival, with little extras thrown in to make us feel at home (a bottle of wine, snacks, fruit, etc.). We were given directions to the nearest shopping districts, restaurants, and tube stations, and the bookcases in the flat were packed with guidebooks for London and light reading material for those days when our feet were tired and we came back early. There were two couples traveling together, and it was just the right size.

It was a great location, in a very pretty, pleasant neighborhood, and WHEN we go back to London, we will definitely book this same apartment. We highly recommend it!
