Your own Luxury private vacation home estate is set on a quiet low-traffic road a few walking steps form the Oceans Coast. At the end of a rural road you approach this exclusive estate with manicured grounds together with breathtaking views of Pico Mountain. This estate is comprised of the sprawling main house of three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, for a total occupancy for a group of 6 persons.

Make yourself at Home!

You can choose to either have that peaceful morning coffee on the front veranda while gazing out at Pico Mountain; Open the French doors and set your rustic table for a nice dining experience. Or create that great BBQ by gathering the group around the gazebo, utilizing the wood fire, and the candles that we provide. Set your perfect alfresco setting any which way you like!

The Beach: Only a minutes walk to a quaint sandy beach, at its best during the months of June to October. You may extend your hours at the beach by utilizing our beach kit, that we provide, coolers, umbrella, beach blankets and towels. After your swim, rinse off in our useful outdoor shower.

Since 2007, we have been renting our own private vacation home and this experience and knowledge has made us aware of our guest’s needs and expectations. You only have to look at the pictures of this fabulous vacation home to know why I chose to recommend this property to my clients who are searching for the ultimate beach house. From its privileged position near the coast with a private pathway which leads to a delightful beach, to the many outdoor dining possibilities. This property ticks all my boxes, right down to the interiors subtle nautical decor and its quality linens. It was love at first sight and I am proud to spread the word.

has been our second time to the Casa da Praia, and fingers crossed, there'll be other opportunities to go back.
The property is very clean, the view is just outstanding, directly on the volcano on the opposite island and the sea separating the two. Picture yourself with a nice glass of red wine in your hand, a fire cracking in the living room, view over the large garden (getting pounded with rain on the odd day in spring) the massive waves in the sea and clouds dancing around the volcano... there is a lot worse moments and few are those who are better!
Everything else around the house is just as it should be, nice decoration, big kitchen, well equipped - lots of "free service lemons and tangerines" in the garden, big BBQ pavilion to dine outside. 
I would not really know how to make this any better, except maybe direct flights from Paris to Faial, but then again, there would be more people to share the beaches with...

The property consists of the main residence that has 3 bedrooms The property sits on a dead end road which is quiet, local traffic mostly frequented by fishermen to divers. The beach across the street can by reached by a footpath and steps that commence right at the gate to the property, leading to a small beach. This small beach is so beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Amazing, quiet and so comfortable

The property is beautiful, top quality and very spacious. The views amazing and always changing. The goats are adorable and the delicious fresh fruit and veg from the garden a massive bonus. Zelda the manager so friendly and helpful.

Definitely recommend this and will definitely return.

Fantastic!

What can I say? It is just perfect! Stunning view to Pico, wonderful and lovely furnished house with everything you need. Zelda was always kind and helpful - actually like everyone on the island. The fruit and vegetable garden ist amazing, as are the goats, which are really friendly.

The entry to the beach ist just over a small cul-de-sac and a few stairs. Rocky beach, where the stones form little ponds. The children loved them so much! Also a nice spot for snorkeling and swimming.

After 2,5 weeks we just didn't want to leave. We also had the fortune of perfect weather conditions, saw lots of whales and dolphins (often with their tiny babys). Go with Naturalist to a whale watching trip. They're great!

We can only highly recommend a stay to explore the beauty of Faial.

La vue sur Pico , le jardin splendide soigné avec amour par le jardinier qui a respecté les espèces endémiques!!!
