This really cozy air conditioned One Bedroom Apartment in Knightsbridge could not be more centrally located - just moments behind Harrod's store on one of central London's lovely garden squares. Ideal for leisure of business, it's great for a couple or couple with a child.

Live like a local in this elegant but well equipped, compact air conditioned One Bedroom Apartment moments from the rear of Harrod's store in Knightsbridge and facing a classic London garden square. In a lovely Victorian building, the apartment is on the third floor with just one short flight of steps between each floor.

In a really great location, this air conditioned apartment is just a short walk from some of London’s main museums – Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum – and in walking distance of Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall. London’s main sights – Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, London’s theatres, the Tower of London and much more are easily accessed quickly and direct from either Knightsbridge underground station on the Piccadilly Line - 3 minutes' walk from your apartment.

Your lovely apartment is carpeted throughout (except in the kitchen and bathroom, which are tiled). The very comfortable 'L' shaped sofa sits in front of a 48" flat screen TV which has Freeview channels. Free WiFi and Broadband are currently being installed. Air conditioning provides cooling or heat, as needed. Under the sofa there is a small mattress, suitable for a young child or we can provide a cot for a baby if needed. A third adult can sleep on the good size sofa, with linen and towels provided.

The Bedroom has a Double Bed and a huge wardrobe with hanging space and ample drawers inside offering plenty of space for any length of stay. As the photos show, the bedroom really has too many wardrobes and not good space for the bed itself, but that's all part of what Londoners experience on a day to day basis.

The compact, modern kitchen is very well equipped with hob, oven, microwave, small fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. There is a washing machine and iron and ironing board along with all the crockery, cutlery, glass, cooking utensils, pans and more that you will need during your stay.

The newly equipped, modern bathroom has bath tub and large shower over, with common controls for ease of operation of the two.

The immediate area of your apartment has numerous small shops, restaurants and coffee shops as well as Harrod's and manh other exclusive shops in Knightsbridge. 2 minutes' walk from your apartment, behind Harrod's is ca'upchino - our favourite patisserie and coffee and tea shop, perfect for breakfast or for relaxing after a hard day's shopping or sightseeing.

There is a choice of Marks and Spencer, Little Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local, all within 4 minutes’ walk and some open from 7.00 a.m. up to midnight. If you decide to go out to eat, you will find yourself spoilt for choice from the wide range of restaurants close by.

Do make sure to slip down the side streets around your apartment where you will find the village atmosphere of Knightsbridge still alive and well. There is a beautiful garden square moments from the entrance to your apartment and several mews and streets of small, very individual shops and restaurants that you just will not find anywhere else.

Knightsbridge is one of the most exclusive residential areas of central London and it's really not hard to see why. Some of the best stores in London are on your doorstep and Knightsbridge is also a very central spot for getting around the rest of this great city.

If you enjoy museums, there are some of London's best in this area - just a short walk down Brompton Road for the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum.

London is famous for it's parks and Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park (essentially one park) are in easy walking distance.

However, Knightsbridge was once just a village outside London and it still retains some of the atmosphere from those earlier days in side streets of mews houses, garden squares and some lovely, very individual shops and restaurants. They can be a bit pricey but they are a unique experience.

Knightsbridge tube (underground/subway) - Piccadilly Line - station is 3 minutes' walk away and South Kensington - Circle, District and Piccadilly Lines - tube station is 15 minutes' walk. Both are on a direct route from London Heathrow Airport as well as providing direct routes to much of central London. Between them, they offer easy direct routes to most of central London. Several bus routes run up and down Brompton Road.

It is perfectly located very close to Knightsbridge underground stop. We would stay here again!

I stayed here with my 21 and 15 year old daughters in June 2016. We chose this apartment for its great, very safe location, and the washing machine. It was air-conditioned, which was good because it was very hot when we were there. On arrival, we met a helpful colleague in front of the building. She checked us in, and showed us everything. The area is beautiful, with Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce parked out front. We were disappointed that the washer was broken and they were unable to get it fixed before we left, but they made every possible offer to arrange getting our clothes clean. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable. The couch pullout is not. The couch needs updating to a better pullout for a third person unless it's a child. The bathroom has a large tub and shower. It was very clean. The WiFi was great. Some channels on the TV did not come in well. There was coffee, and soaps and lots of other helpful things. All of my questions and e-mail were answered right away. We would stay here again, or with the same property owner, because with the the exception of the washing machine, everything was very smooth.
