This recently renovated 200sqm 4-bedroom townhouse has been transformed into a stunning holiday rental, perfect for its close proximity to the vibrant centre of Jerez de la Frontera and an ideal base to visit other local towns, villages and beaches.
The property is located in one of the charming tree-lined streets in the tranquil and historic neighbourhood of the Barriada de España. Just a 10-minute walk to the centre of Jerez you will find the major shops, banks, cafés, bars etc, in and around the Calle Larga. From here, you are within easy reach of all the sights: the bodegas, the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and the flamenco neighbourhoods.
The house itself combines the traditional and the modern. Behind the original facade lies an architect designed reverse level home in which the bedrooms are on the ground floor and a light, airy, open-plan space divided into a living area, a dining area that seats eight and a kitchen is on the first.
This is not the only unique feature of this townhouse; it also has a large roof garden with an open-air kitchenette. You can eat al fresco under the purpose-built pergola, relax with a glass of wine and a book in the sun or watch the stars come out at night.
Located close to both the train and bus station and with easy on-street parking in the area, this property is ideally suited for all types of traveller.

I'm British but have lived in Jerez since October 2005. My husband and I moved from London, largely (from what I remember) on a whim and with a desire for some sunshine. It's turned out to be a lot more. Since then, in addition to making new friends, I've published ten novels and had two children. We bought the house in 2007, gutted everything apart from the facade and rebuilt it into what it is today. We moved in in 2012 and have loved every minute of living in it. I hope you enjoy the house - and Jerez - as much as we have.
Lucy purchased this house in 2007
We chose to come and live in Jerez because it's such a charming city and very Spanish. It's not too big, not too small, and nice and close to the beach. That it apparently enjoys 272 days of sunshine a year was also a deciding factor!
Unique benefits of the house? Oooh, where to start?? Because it's so central yet incredibly peaceful? Because Manolo, who owns the jamon shop opposite, sells possibly the best ham in Jerez? Or because if you don't feel like going out to one of the fabulous local bars or restaurants, you can enjoy a glass of sherry and a barbecue up in the lovely roof garden?
Easy, cool, very well presented house in the quiet part of town, within a short walk of main shops and restaurants. We found a lovely beach 25 minutes away by car at Valdelagrana. We will be back for another visit!
Really an amazing hose with a beautiful roof top patio to top everything of. Just a few minutes from the market and some of our favourite tabancos.
This house was a great find, very clean, nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. It definitely lived up to its description - and actually surpassed it! There's plenty of space inside and out, and it's really close to the centre. Even though the weather wasn't great during our stay we still managed a cool glass of sherry on the roof terrace once or twice.
There were four of us in our party - two adults and two kids - and we found the open plan layout upstairs great. It was nice to be able to cook while keeping an eye on the children. Loads of toys for them to play with and books to read too, which was a bonus.
I would definitely recommend this house to friends and relatives. I would also highly recommend El Guitarron - a little bar near by where we caught some flamenco!
It is a really nice property, ten minutes away from the historic centre so is quieter. Well located in terms of the supermarket which is only a few minutes away and little local corner shops also very close to the property. In addition, the main train station was around 20 minutes walk. Very comfortable and a lot of space.
I would definitively recommend this property to family and friends.
