All rooms are Air-conditioned. Breathtaking views from balcony and private ground/garden. Walking distance to local Tavernas, Inka Supermarket and village square. Well situated to visit a great variety of villages of ancient history/archaeological or typical local life interest. Situated in one of the highest sea level of the village which provides an entire clear view of the village, sea and mountains. Away from the main roads and village which gives a peaceful environment with soothing sounds of nature. The beautiful sandy beach of Kalives only 15 min drive. The beaches of Almyrida and Georgioupolis are 20-30 Min drive.

"This is a very comfortable villa with a magnificent view to the see. It is very well equipped, with a private pool, and situated in a really very quiet district. We had very good contact with the owner who replied our e-mails immediately and also called us, if it was necessary.

I can recommend the villa for these people who wish to rest in a quiet place (we were in April there).

However, if you want to visit some attractions, the own car is recommended to reach the destinations quickly.

Fantastic Villa in a lovely village

We had the most fantastic holiday and really loved the Villa, we felt so at home and was really comfortable and relaxed. It was clean and the only problem we had was with the fridge not getting very cold although Mike and Theresa were very helpful (the freezer was fine).

We had lots of fun in the pool which was great (always v. clean) or just relaxing on the patio , we loved the views and the sheep coming past us in the morning!

Kefalas is a lovely village and we made plenty of use of the shop and restaurant as well as home catering.

We have so much more to explore in western Crete (we did manage the Samarian Gorge and days out in Chania and visited friends in Rethymno )that we are seriously considering booking your villa again next year.

The boys really appreciated the WiFi and we couldn't have felt more relaxed or at home.

Lovely quiet villa, perfect relaxing holiday

Lovely villa, clean and well equipped, the kids loved the pool.

The village is quiet and the views are amazing but you will need to hire a car to get around. The village has two shops and two tavernas but there are more amenities not too far away in Vamos and Kalyves.

Very good communication with the owner and very detailed instructions from the Airport! The local property managers are really helpful if there are any problems during your stay. We had a lovely relaxing holiday. Will definitely recommend the villa.

Wonderful Sea and Mountain Vyews

How communication with Pon Logan were good with quick replies and good written & photos of directions from the airport. The Villa was ready for us on arrival, with fresh fruit on the table. It was very relaxing around the pool & garden. The views from the bedroom balcony of the see & mountains were wonderful. We did however find the sofas a little uncomfortable There was just one bathroom so I would not like to be there with up to 8 people. We only needed to contact the welcome team once on a small matter and they were their in moments and they were very helpful. The village of kafalas is charming in it's simplicity with 2 friendly stores and a bar & restaurant. A car is a must ,we visited lovely Chania old town, beach resorts of Almiisa, Geogelloupoll & Rethimnon.

We both enjoyed our stay at this villa and recommend it to others.

Wonderful location, fabulous views, nice villa.

The villa is beautifully situated, it has wonderful views. Very quiet location on the edge of a small village with a couple of minimarkets and tavernas. The villa itself is nicely equipped, ok for up to 6 people, any more would be a bit tight. It may look a bit isolated but isn't really, however, a car is essential to make the most of this stunning area of Crete.

We all really enjoyed staying in your lovely villa.

It’s in a beautiful position with a fantastic view. It had everything that we needed and was very clean when we arrived.

The process for arriving and leaving was also really straightforward and the price was very good value.

To our surprise, we even enjoyed the pool at the end of March!

Really no complaints at all.

We just wish we could have brought the sunshine home with us.

Driving from Kefalas, travelling west following the coast you will encounter a stunning, breathtaking down trail with amazing views all the way to Almirida, Plaka, then to Kalives. This will take 20 mins. You can reach Kalives in 10-15 mins driving through Vamos, passing Tsivaras. To the east you can find Georgiopoli beach tourist resort within 10mins drive.


Car use is essential. Bike hire is available at Georgioupoli. Two main airports service area- Chania Airport 30-45 mins drive from villa. Heraklion airport 1½ - 2 hours drive from villa. Ports in Souda Bay 30 mins drive from villa.


Kefalas is well situated to visit a great variety of villages of ancient history / archaeological or typical local life interest within a very short distance, 10-15 minutes drive away Gavalohori, Aptera, Kokkino Chorio, Plaka, Aspro, Kalami, Stylos, Vryses, Vamos etc. There is also Lake Kournas and the beach resorts of Kalives, Almirida and Georgioupoli.

Further Details:

Kefalas has several tavernas and small supermarket shops. Neighbouring villages like selia, Xerosteni, ect also provide a range of tavernas. Litsarda offers an excellent taverna/pizza restaurant. Vamos is the largest town in the area. It has Banks and a 24hr Health Centre, bakary, butchers, grocery shops and many tavernas to eat and drink.

2) If you wish to pay on your arrival to the Villa then 50% of the total cost to be paid as soon as possible then the balance can be paid on your arrival by cash. However there will be a additional charge of €30 will apply if you are paying any cash at the villa.
3) You can make payments to UK bank account in Sterling or Crete bank account in Euros. And also you can choose to pay in to our Paypal account.
4) Any bank charges or Paypal charges are not included in the total price.
5) If you choose to pay in sterling currency, please contact the owner for England bank account details.
6) If you are paying in Sterling currency then the owner will inform you the currency exchange rate.
7) Any bookings 3 weeks or more will have discount.
9) Unlimited down load Internet/WiFi connection with a land line phone will be provided with your request and there will be a additional charge of €30.00 for 7 nights.
Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible.
Transport can be provided from Chania Airport by our welcome team however it is depend on number of people in your group.
If you require midweek cleaning additional charge will apply.
