About simon parkins

We live in London with our 4 children, who with the exception of the youngest, have all learnt to ski on the slopes of Morzine. The youngest will be starting at club piou piou next year!!

Why simon parkins chose Morzine

We bought this property in 2011, when it was newly built. We had been looking for a long time for the perfect place, in the right location and we knew immediately that this was the one! Morzine is just over an hour from Geneva airport so transfers are quick and convenient whilst the resort has a terrific snow record typically running from mid December to mid April. We wanted something of high quality, in a good location and this apartment is perfect, being a short walk to the bars, restaurants and lifts of Morzine and on the bus route to the prodain lift should the skiing of Avoriaz and the huge Portes Du Soleil ski region tempt you.

Lovely Well Equipped Apartment

This is a really well equipped apartment in a great location. The apartment is warm with plenty of hot water for all guests and has lovely views of the mountains. We stayed as a family of grandparents, parents and two children. The accommodation was perfect with two good sized double bedrooms and the other room with two single beds, ideal for the children. The layout is ideal and the kitchen well equipped with all you need to self cater. There is a well stocked supermarket about 10 minutes away and all the shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

The owner is very helpful and the recommended ski hire shop was well stocked and we were able to store all our ski boots and skis overnight which made getting the children to ski school on time much easier. The bus to the Pleney lift stops at the end of the road although without skis to carry you could walk easily. There is a folder with all the information you might need for the apartment and for Morzine and we tried two of the recommended restaurants and had excellent local food.

We used the recommended ski transfer from Geneva and were very happy with both journeys.

Very nice apartment in excellent location. Only 10 min walk to lifts made easy by leaving skies at FB Freeride. Plenty of utilities in apartment and very clean and comfortable

Very comfortable and well located apartment

We stayed here for a week and found it to be one of the best apartments we have ever taken. It is very central for Morzine town centre and a few yards from the free shuttle bus stop.

It is well equipped, comfortable and peaceful with a lift system to take your bags up from the garage level and to use yourselves after a hard day's skiing.

The owner is helpful and friendly. The advice received beforehand about transfers and equipment hire was excellent and the information pack on-site covers everything else

Brilliant apartment in a great location

We were 6 adults (3 couples) staying in this apartment. It is in a fantastic location, only 5 minutes walk to the Main ski lift for Mozine. The apartment is very spacious, well kept and clean. Everything we could ask for!
