Situated in Heworth Green, our very well appointed house has all you will need for a relaxing stay in York. With double, twin and single rooms- all dressed with new and stylish bedding on pocket sprung mattresses. "Lavenders" has comfortable seating for 6 in the lounge with flatscreen TV and wireless hub. The kitchen is very well appointed with dining area for 6. Outside there are patios to front and back with outside dining space along with drive and garage for parking for 2 cars. A ten minute stroll takes you inside Monkgate and to the Minster.

Our newly appointed house has 3 bedrooms, a double,twin and single. The house sleeps 5 comfortably with room for 2 extra on our sofa bed in the lounge. It is set in Heworth Green, a very pleasant area of York. Our home offers free WiFi, free parking, just 10 minutes’ stroll from the historic centre of York. It is on a frequent park and ride bus service route, which picks up and drops off right at the front door. Lavenders is perfectly located to explore the vibrant city centre, and has easy access to York’s outer ring road for visiting other nearby attractions. York Racecourse is 11 minutes' drive away and the property is just 20 minutes' walk from Betty's Tea Rooms.

About Alistair And Jo Budd

My wife and I love York. We have visited many many times over the years. We love the whole atmosphere of a safe city with great nights out alongside the fabulous history and culture.

An opportunity to buy a property arose in 2015. We looked around a number of properties and had no hesitations in purchasing, "Lavenders". The style and finish of the house was excellent.But primarily the location is great. We can park the car and not use it again all week!!

Our children love the property and so do we. I am sure you will also.

Location, parking and finishes! We drive to York ( just up the road from Doncaster) and within 5 minutes of arriving we are relaxed and ready to hit York!

My daughters love shopping and with the Designer Outlet, Monk's Cross and the many beautiful shops of York they're in heaven.

What makes this house unique

A view of the Minster from outside the front gate and great transport links to the city, if a 10 minute stroll feels too much.

Very clean and well presented.

Lovely House

We stayed here 2 years ago for a couple of days and decided to come back. It was again great. The house is lovely maintained, has good facilities and is centrally located. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk into town. Ideal for a weekend stay in York.

Cozy, comfortable and close to Yorks attractions.

Stayed over Xmas and was pleased that the house was lovely and warm. The beds were very comfortable and the house is maintained to a good standard. It was also really clean. Good location for walking into center of York.

Convenient, super comfortable and well appointed house

Really enjoyed our stay. This house was like home from home. I recommend it! We were with grandparents and our two children so some days we did hop on the number 9 bus to get home just because the boys were so tired after doing so much in York, so having bus stop so close is perfect. It’s an easy walk in for any one who’s fit and able though. We loved the little tavern on The Shambles; experienced a Yorkshire pudding wrap and had a great time learning about Guy Fawkes and Dick Turpin on the ‘Mad Alice Bloody Tour if York’. The boys loved the Harry Potter feel of The Shambles and the shop that must not be named and of course the Jorvik centre was a must. Thanks for a great stay!
