Incredible Penthouse in modern building, gated parking, air-cond, WIFI, 2 levels

Bright, stunning, well equipped duplex Penthouse with a terrace as large as the apartment itself. A modern building with gated/underground parking - well maintained grounds and wonderful sandy beaches or rocky coves within walking distance.

The master suite is on a separate level to the rest of the apartment and is made up of a bedroom, bathroom and a separate toilet with its own private balcony overlooking the sea.

On the floor above the two bright, twin bedrooms share a bathroom but again have a separate toilet. All beds and bedding to high standard for a really good nights sleep.

The sitting room has three exits onto an extremely large terrace with views to bays surrounding St Maxime and St Tropez. The terrace has large awnings to provide shade for outside dining.

The flat is equipped through with air-conditioning with a new TV, DVD, WIFI, freestanding ice-maker machine, Nespresso machines, wine fridge (in addition to the kitchen fridge) washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.

Walk to sandy or rocky beaches and the centre of Saint Raphael. Easily accessible either by road to Agay, Boulouris, Frejus, Saint Maxime, Grasse, St Paul de Vence, but especially by train to Cannes, Nice, Aix en Provence, Cannes, Monaco and St Tropez by the local ferry service.

Opposite at the Port Santa Lucia there are a wide variety of restaurants, a snack bar, supermarket, tabac, deli, and fishmonger.

The sailing school is next door where out children have learned to sail at very reasonable prices.

A really wonderful place to spend a holiday with weekly firework displays, carousels, local provencal produce markets, water sports centre, mini golf, electric go cart cars, diving, extensive shopping for all budgets, fish market, hiking in the Esterel Mountains nearby or just relaxing on the beach and swimming in the sea.

I have spent summers at my father's flat at Le Mexico In St Raphael since 1984 and now my husband and I have bought our own apartment in the same building to continue having holidays here with our three boys who have all learnt to swim, dive, sail and hike here over the years.

Le Mexico is well maintained and respected by all the residents. Le Mexico is easily located for beaches, convenience shopping/eating on the port, the sailing club and the main town.

What makes this apartment unique

The beauty of the surrounding countryside has so much to do. Saint Raphael is truly a French holiday resort with few other languages spoken. This area does not carry the heavy prices of other better known places along the Riviera and has not been spoilt by too many international tourists. The town and beaches are safe with the famous blue sea of the Cote d'azur. It is easily accessed by rail and car without the traffic jams of other towns.

To the left is the sandy beach and to the right the rocky cove beaches.

Opposite is the New Port with snack bars, restaurants, supermarket, boulangerie, patisserie, fish mongers, traiteur (for take away home cooked meals), newsagents and marina. Next door is the sailing club which offers kids sailing school courses am or pm 5 days a week for about 80 euros per child from age 8 or family courses. Highly recommended and book in advance.

Towards the beach is wake boarding, water skiing & fun sports centre, a children's play area, mini-golf, electric cars, carousel rides.

Left from the building there is a coastal walk with many rocky coves to discover and rocks to jump from. To the right is the sandy beach of Saint Raphael.

The main town is only a short away with a large selection of shops, banks, a daily fresh fish market and a covered fresh fruit & veg market, cinema, casino ... everything you would expect from a major town.

There are ferries from the newly renovated old port for general sight seeing along the coast or to St Tropez, Saint-Marguerite & Porquerolles.

St Raphael and Frejus offer almost weekly fireworks displays in the summer season.

There are excellent Golf and Tennis clubs closeby that you can reach either by taxi or car. These are about 3-5 kilometres away at most

Take a drive or train ride to all the major towns along the Riviera including Monaco, Cannes, Nice and Marseille, or drive up to Grasse, St Paul de Vence or a little over hour to Aix-en-Provence from where you can discover the lavender and sunflowers of the Luberon. Another beach to discover by car is the one you can see opposite on the other side of the bay at St Agulf where there is a theme park, waterslide park and go-carting.
