Modern, well equipped, 3 bedroomed house. Walking distance to village and beach.

Sanderling has a Visit Wales high 4* grade. It is a modern, 3 bedroomed house upside down house, with 2 bathrooms, 10-15 minutes walk from the pretty village of Saundersfoot and its stunning beaches.

Rates include unlimited wifi, all utilities, linen, towels and cleaning.

It has a well equipped fitted kitchen. You can see the sea from the lounge, dining room and courtyard garden and enjoy Al fresco dining either on the balcony from the lounge or the patio.

The recently refitted kitchen has a double oven, separate hob, microwave, fridge, separate freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher, toaster and Nescafé Dolce coffee machine.

The three bedrooms comprise of a master with king size bed and en-suite shower room and two further double rooms, one with a double bed the other with full size twin beds.

The house bathroom has a free standing bath, separate rain fall shower and underfloor heating.

The driveway has parking for two cars

About Angela Mander

Our family have been visiting the village of Saundersfoot for the past 45 years, since our childhood. Living in the landlocked Midlands we have always enjoyed our holidays in Pembrokshire, loving the sandy beaches and coastal walks in the area. We purchased Sanderling in 2015 a childhood dream achieved!

Why Angela Mander chose Saundersfoot

We had a strict criteria, looking for one that sleeps at least 4, that was within walking distance of the village and the stunning beaches. We were thrilled when we saw Sanderling and knew immediately it was exactly what we had been looking for. We have spent the summer preparing it for our visitors, buying good quality bed linen and towels and adding finishing touches ready for you!

We hope you enjoy you time visiting Sanderling and find it as relaxing and unwinding as well do!

What makes this house unique

Sanderling is a surprisingly spacious 'up-side down house', with the living area on the floor you enter and the bedrooms, and courtyard garden downstairs, in order to make the very best of the views of the sea and countryside views.

The house is really well equipped, ideal for self catering, and eating al-fresco!

It has a lovely sunny aspect from lunchtime through to late evening, perfect to enjoy a glass of wine either on the balcony from the lounge or downstairs in the courtyard garden.

With the lounge and open plan dining area Sanderling feels very spacious, giving plenty of room for six visitors. Books and maps give ideas for walks and places to visit in the nearby locality.

Lovely house with beautiful view

Well fitted kitchen, spacious dining room & lounge with balcony & sea view. Master bedroom & En-Suite were lovely & the family bathroom was very big with a wonderful stand alone bath. The 2 other bedrooms were both big & very good. My only criticism would be that the wardrobe in the double room smelt a little fusty. I contacted the owner as the bulbs went in the kitchen light during our stay & the upstairs toilet seat was broken - I was contacted personally by the owner who arranged for it to be sorted that day without any problem. Everything is provided all you need are you clothes! Beautiful home & views & would recommend for a lovely relaxing break.

SUPERB PROPERTY BUT DISAPPOINTING WEATHER

We could not fault the property. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and everything to hand. There are just three of us but we always like to rent properties with two bathrooms and plenty of space. This house was ideal. We would have loved to take advantage of the garden furniture and sat out on the terrace, but alas it was not possible. However we were out every day exploring the area.

Superb accommodation & location for access to some beautiful walks and beaches

We had enough room for two couples, inside and out on both the upper decking (access from the living room) and the patio below (access from the ensuite bedroom or the side gate). Upside down house it truly is! The kitchen has enough space for two people to work in and there was everything that we needed, slow cooker, good pans, good height oven and the blessed dishwasher.

We were truly lucky with our weather for the week, enabling us to have beach days (using the camping chairs in the patio storage bench) and walking days.

We can also recommend The Mulberry Restaurant, superb food, friendly waitresses and charismatic owners - we hope they have a good summer.

Thank you Angela, for the use of your lovely upside down house. If we visit the area again, there are plenty of beaches and walks still to do, we would certainly check to see if Sanderling was available.

Very nice well appointed accommodation, good location for the beach if you don’t mind the hill.

Stayed for a week either side of early May Bank Holiday weekend. Spent a day in nearby Tenby and also a boat trip round Skomer to see the puffins. Sunny weather meant two beach days at Saundersfoot and Wiseman’s Bridge on wonderful sands. Other trips included Stackpole and Picton Castle. Still so much to do!

Beautiful home in lovely location

Well kitted out house in perfect spot. Short walk downhill into Saundersfoot which has lots of lovely shops, bars and restaurants.

Lovely outdoor space and comfy living areas. You can see the sea whilst having your breakfast in peace and quiet surroundings. Countryside walks straight from the front door and walking books available in the house for further afield. Good communication from the owner regarding any queries.

Loved it

We have visited Wales several times in the last 6 months and this was our best visit ever. The accomodation is superb, spotlessly clean and provided all we could wish for. We can fully recommend this property and although we were house hunting rather than on holiday we could see the area has a lot to offer for families, couples etc
