Wonderful stay

  • 5 of 5

The apartment suited the four of us perfectly and the location was ideal for walking to everything. It is right by the canal, the wonderful market and close to the vaporetto — but quieter than some of the really crowded areas. It was a great place to relax after sightseeing, spacious enough to have a meal together as well as being light, spacious and well-designed.

The second shower is a little small, but we shared the larger one with no problem.

Stephanie was very responsive, answered all my questions promptly and was very helpful.

Would love to stay there again.

Cool, contemporary, central, spacious, inviting, and felt like our own temporary home.

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in the apartment with 5 friends and it was absolutely amazing. We're all students so we had planned to do Venice on a budget and we felt like we were living extraordinarily well here for a very reasonable price. The apartment was tidy & clean, well furnished and the aircon was a welcome relief every day. The welcoming from Bernadette was helpful & informative (even though it was slightly delayed due to her schedule and our late flight) and we stayed without any problems. Even the sofa beds my friends slept on were very comfortable.

There wasn't much to complain about on the whole; a few things were that one of the showers is very little and had a dodgy seal, the situation with taking out the bins was a little confusing, and as interesting as the design for the steps up to the mezzanine is, they were a little tricky to master (and required much concentration to climb after a couple of glasses of wine).

Kitchen was good although could use a toaster (we ended up microwaving a lot of bread as a substitute) and the combination microwave/grill/oven is a bit difficult to manage, but overall we ate very well in our 6 days with lots of home cooking to save money. There is no lift up to the apartment but the stairs aren't excessive and if anything were useful as a method to walk off all the pizza, pasta and wine we had.

I cannot stress enough how perfect the location is. Finding your way back to the apartment is a breeze since you can just follow the abundant signs 'per rialto', it's central but distant from the chaos of San Marco, easy to access but also feels secluded, a 3 minute walk from the Rialto bridge, the market is seconds away, and if you're going to Venice in 2017 the amazing big white hands from the Bienniale are visible from the end of the street. The central location meant that my friends & I could walk all over Venice rather than taking the vaporetto & save our money.

We had a wonderful six days and would definitely recommend!

Très bon emplacement de l'appartement au pied du Rialto. Spacieux, propre.

Au calme.

Les enfants ont adoré la mezzanine pour dormir.

Convenient charming and clean!

  • 4 of 5

We had a family of 6 stay. Although the teenagers and twenty-somethings had to sleep on the couch, they managed fine but make sure the young ones are good about sleeping in open spaces as the couch is in the open living/kitchen/dining area. The old radio was cool and we found some great stations to listen to. There was air conditioning but it wasn't evenly distributed through the apartment. The loft stayed very cool while the main bedroom got warm but still decent. Make sure someone explains the door lock before you try it yourself...we struggled the first time.

We took a water taxi from the airport which was worth the $$ for 6 people. The taxi dropped us off within about a block of the apartment. The hotel next to the apartment was helpful in booking a return water taxi to the cruise port which was convenient as well. The location is close to Rialto Bridge and easily walkable to San Marco and all the sights. The fish market is within walking distance which we loved. We bought some fresh salmon and vegetables for dinner our first night...it was delicious.

I would recommend this location for a group size of 4-6 people! Great time!

Great location

  • 3 of 5

We traveled to Venice for 2 nights with another couple very recently and was looking for a great location for an apartment. The apartment was perfect location for us near the Rialto bridge, fish market and restaurants and shopping. (Only a short 10 min walk to San Marco). Unfortunately we got off on the wrong side of the bridge and had quite a hike to carry our luggage to the apartment in the blazing heat of Venice! Once we got to the location there was quite a few stairs we had to climb to get to the top, there is no elevator access in this building. The apartment living area was very spacious and had air conditioning. The only concern that we had for 4 adults in the location was there is only 1 large bedroom and a loft that you are unable to stand up in and the cleaniness of the loft was not great. The property manager was terrific as he met us upon arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment and area. Based on location I would rate this property a 4.5/5 and as for cleaniness a 3/5.
