Headlands is a spacious, modern 4th floor apartment right next to the sea and beach in Westward Ho! in the landmark Horizon View building.

The open plan living space has full width patio doors opening onto the large balcony with uninterrupted views across Bideford Bay and the estuary.

The master bedroom with it's four poster bed and en suite bathroom also opens onto the balcony and spectacular view.

The twin bedroom has a large shower room right outside. The twin beds can be made into a super kingsize bed for an additional fee (£30).

The apartment is fully equipped to a high standard and comes with allocated secure parking space, lift access, Sky TV (plus Sky Sports) and broadband. Extra touches like the Bang & Olufsen bluetooth speaker for your music and St Kitts Herbery hand wash and lotion in the bathrooms add to the feeling of luxury.

All linens are provided, including crisp 200 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding, luxury 800 gsm fluffy white towels, tea towels, cloths, and velour beach towels.

Westward Ho! has everything you need for a great seaside holiday or a quiet weekend break, with excellent shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk across the village green. You will be in a great place to explore wonderful places in North Devon like Clovelly, Hartland Quay, Appledore and Lynton & Lynmouth, and there is lots of opportunity to get active and have fun.

What makes this apartment unique

The higher up you go the more panoramic the views get, so the 4th floor is excellent. And the position of the apartment means the large balcony gets plenty of evening sun in the summer (many of the apartments don't). This apartment has Sky TV, Movies, Sport and Family packages. Plus luxury touches like the Bang & Olufsen bluetooth speaker to enjoy your music.

Location

The apartment is right next to the 2 miles wide sandy beach, known as the Golden Bay, is great for surfing, bodyboarding, kite surfing, kite-buggies, rock pooling and sand castle building. Behind the beach is the Royal North Devon Golf course.

The Sout West Coast Path passes in front of the building and there are many great walks on your door step. For cyclists the Tarka Train passes close by.

Westward Ho! has a good selection of shops and restaurants. A few minutes drive away are the Atlantic Village outlet shopping centre, the Big Sheep theme park and the Ultimate Outdoors Adventure Centre.

I could live here, it was so beautiful and relaxing.

The property was everything one would want in a holiday home..

Airy, clean, well presented with all that is needed, home from home and better.

Lauren was a super host without being overly attentive.

The apartment block was well designed for access, parking, and lifts.

The views were breathtaking and listening to the sea all night and day, watching the tide go in and out was extremely relaxing. Sitting on the veranda wrapped in blankets at night was fun.

We started with two of us and ended with four and it was still very spacious.

The local Thai Morans and Italian Cafe Italia were perfect to eat at or get take away.

The cliff walks nearby and local areas of interest were stunning.

It's a gem of a place to the point I almost don't want to recommend it as I want to keep it all to myself!!

Beautiful apartment could not fault anything. Lauren very friendly & helpful. Views amazing, everything you need is there. We were there in Nov so weather a bit iffy at times but still wonderful, would love to go back again

Beautiful Holiday

Headlands is a beautiful apartment with a balcony right on the sea front. Lauren has thought of everything to make you feel so welcome and to ensure you have a good holiday. Lots of in house games etc if the weather is bad. Lovely walks, wonderful scenery and lovely places to eat. Would recommend the Rock Pool cafe for breakfast; Country Cousins for their Carvery; Tea on the Green for afternoon tea. Cake to die for including Gluten Free cake. Hockings ice cream from the van on the front. Morans for a Thai curry. Amazing good food for such a small place. Fish and Chips at Squires in Braunton village. Altogether a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Thank you Lauren

Beautiful apartment with amazing views!

We had a fabulous time on our holiday! The apartment is beautifully furnished with lovely touches, Bluetooth speaker, Sky and a lovely welcome pack of Prosecco and chocolates!

Like others on this page, I really would like to keep this gem to myself!!

Lauren was a perfect host, very helpful and responded quickly when I text a question to her.

I would love to return again in the future.
