The exceptional characteristics of this exceptional apartment - by far one of the prize properties of our vast and varied Madrid portfolio - speak for themselves, making it an easy decision for those looking to enjoy their stay in the capital from premium lodgings. Its many qualities have caught the attention of a number of prestigious magazines titles, including interior design and decoration reference, Nuevo Estilo. The apartment sits within a premium location, from which many of the city’s most established and recognizable landmarks and hotspots are easily accessible, including the Palacio Real, Plaza de Cibeles and Madrid’s holy trinity of art museums, the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofía. In fact, these three pillars prop up the dense cluster of culture that surrounds the apartment; from your charming base, you can almost reach out and touch the Circulo de Bellas Artes – the cultural epicentre from which arguably the finest panoramic views of the city can be best enjoyed. Meanwhile, a short drive up the nearby grand avenue known as Paseo del Prado will sweep you swiftly onto Paseo de Castellana in the exclusive Salamanca neighborhood, where world class retail therapy – courtesy of a grand assembly of heavyweight global brands – awaits. Furthermore, it is brand new, having had its comprehensive refurbishment completed this year (2015). An expansive and elongated living room forms the main focal point of this home, and its elegant furnishings include two chaises longues, a three-seater sofa and two armchairs among other smaller trimmings at one end. At the other end, a giant TV screen and multimedia docking station transform it into a personal, home entertainment lounge when necessary. Huge, French-style double doors leading out onto their own balconies invite an abundance of light into the room, which is then reflected by the interiors to give it an even greater sense of space. The living area is separated from the dining area, which in turn is separated from the top-of-the-range kitchen by a glass screen, adding to the sense of theatre and exhibition as one ambles through the home. The dining table seats six, with further room for mealtime congregations at the American-style bar and island located within the kitchen itself. This space is completed by a comprehensive range of high-spec equipment and electrical appliances. Los Madrazo will comfortably sleep up to six guests in its three palatial, double bedrooms, each of which boasts a respective, en-suite bathing facility. In the master suite, you will find a stone bathtub sunken into a platform and flanked by twin sinks, while the others boast a walk-in shower and a screened tub respectively. In each of the sleeping chambers, you will also be greeted high quality linens and ample, built-in wardrobe storage for your stay. For class, quality, and comfort, there are few properties that will rival what this home will lend your visit to Madrid. Surface area: 225m². First floor (with elevator). The main entrance leads into a spacious hallway, immediately to the left is the kitchen/dining area. This is partitioned from the hallway by two sliding glass doors. The dining area is furnished with a large table and 8 seats, and has through passage to the fully-equipped kitchen. Kitchen amenities include a wine fridge, built-in microwave and oven combination, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker and a sink embedded into an American-style breakfast island (which is also furnished with two high chairs, leather upholstered). Another sliding glass door connects the kitchen to the lounge, which has been elegantly furnished with: a large 4-seater sofa, designer coffee table set of 3 different sizes, two retro-style reading chairs, 2 chaise longues, standing reading lamp, side table stack with designer lamp and a designer rug on the floor. The wall at one end of the living room is entirely covered by a mirror and a large, flat-screen wall-mounted TV. This apartment has three double bedrooms, all of which boast their own en-suite facilities and which can also be accessed from the main entrance hallway via a connecting corridor. The master bedroom is the first on the right of this corridor; it is furnished with a king size double bed (1.80m x 2.00m) with twin bedside tables and lamps and a built-in shelving either side, an open-plan dressing area and an enormous bathtub. Leading up to it is a stone platform/step into which the bathtub is built beside a large mirror, plus two twin sinks either side of it with in-built storage beneath them. The second bedroom features a large double bed (1.50m x 2.00m) and twin bedside tables with designer lamps. The en-suite bathroom has a combined bathtub and shower with a glass screen and separate toilet area – also screened. The third double bedroom also features a large double bed (1.50m x 2.00m), again with twin bedside tables and designer lamps. This bedroom’s en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower and stone sink with built-in shelves for storage. There is also a separate laundry/utility room which contains a washer/dryer. The property has wood flooring throughout, except in the bathrooms, which are tiled (stone).

Beautiful with great location

This is a beautiful property, the pictures while accurate, underscore how spacious this unit is. The location was perfect just one block from the Thyssen Museum. The Proximity to great restaurants and historical sights couldn't have been better. Before booking I would recommend that you confirm with the property management company that the construction in the unit above has been completed. Unfortunately during our week long stay construction was so loud between 9-7 on some days we couldn't retire for an afternoon siesta or focus on work. I would recommend this property and would stay there again, pending no construction was taking place.

Location of the apartment was central and within walking distance to museums, shopping and great restaurants. The apartment was well appointed and perfect for a group of 5...clean, updated, spacious and modern,

A Beautiful HomeAway for Our Stay

This apartment is an absolutely beautiful. Both lxurious and comfortable with all the conveniences of home. The location is very safe and is perfect for walking to so many attractions including parks, museums, resturants, plazas and shopping. Our party of 6 and a baby all slept well and with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms we enjoyed plenty of privacy. The kitchen, living room and dinning rooms allowed our group a nice common area to gather and we never felt crowded. If you are looking for a lovely place to call home you will find these accommodations to your liking.

We highly recommend Casa del Prado!

Casa del Prado is just brilliant!!! My husband and I stayed there with some friends recently and had an incredible experience. It was our 1st time in Madrid and I can safely say we will come back and stay in Casa de Prado again. Not only is the house in the most perfect setting (really close to Museo del Prado and an easy 10-15 minute walk from the main shopping street Grand Via). We were also blissfully close to the park. we seemed to pick a rare grey week in Madrid but honestly we didn’t mind. The flat is total luxury, a real treat and we highly recommend it!

Just spectacular!!!!!

Just spectacular, I have never been in such a one-of-a kind property. The check-in agent, Alex even showed me a magazine where the apartment had been featured just a few months before we stayed. This made the trip that even more extra special after that! This is definitely on par – if not even more stunning – than a top 5 star hotel. The art work and decoration was truly world class. We really didn’t want to leave!
