This complex of three luxury suites-villas is the latest addition in “Dolce” collection.
Dolce Luxury Suites were designed and built with care in every detail to meet the highest standards of comfort and beauty thus providing their guests an unforgettable holiday experience. Positioned just 50 meters away from a small and peaceful sandy beach called Psarou on the north coast of Zante, they can become the perfect location for your vacation either you are searching for a romantic honeymoon destination, a holiday home to explore the island or a family holiday resort.
Each one of the “Dolce Luxury Suites” covers a 110 m2 surface of living space and an outdoor terrace of 70 m2 with a private swimming pool. Each has 3 spacious double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, 3 balconies with amazing sea views, a comfortable living room and a fully equipped kitchen.
Each suite has a sofa bed comfortable enough to sleep the 7th person.
The suites-villas are almost surrounded by olive groves just 50 meters away from a sandy beach of the Ionian Sea with crystal clear waters. Within walking distance you will be delighted to find a selection of taverns serving traditional and Mediterranean recipes. In the local area and within short distance 2-3 km there are many more beautiful sandy beaches like Alykes and Alykanas. Furthermore the suites could be the ideal base for short trips around Zakynthos Island especially to the North coast where the world famous Shipwreck beach is.
Traditional villages, Greek orthodox churches, museums, nightlife as well as water sports can also be found in the local area as well as across Zante Island, providing many alternatives to choose from, in order to experience the holidays you wish for.

A lovely, new apartment, well maintained and great for family with three teenagers. Dionisios and Petros were really helpful during our stay, meeting us at the airport and providing great tips on the best beaches and tavernas. The pool and decking were as stunning as they look on the photos, and caught the sun from sundown to dusk. Sheets and towels cleaned every day and one small issue with wi-fi access was quickly resolved.
Psarou itself is very quiet. A small beach, one shop and three tavernas. Well located though between Shipwreck beach / Blue Caves and Xigia beaches to the North and Banana Beach / Turtle Beach to the South. Tsilivi, the nearest resort is about 20 mins away with bars, shops and water sports if needed. We had a great time exploring and coming back each day to our little oasis!
Definitely recommend if looking for a quiet get away but you will need a car.
We stayed in the middle villa of Dolce Suites for two weeks. Dionisios, Tatiana and Petros were very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. We did noit have a car for the first couple of days and Tatiana went shopping for us. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with daily visits by the resident maid (and daily towel changes) and wonderfully efficient air conditioning (essential in August!).
We were worried that the pool looked a bit small for a family of five but was more than adequate and maintained on a daily basis by Dionisius.
Psarou is a very small town and the beach is visited mainly by local people. The sea is wonderfully clear and warm but tended to get more waves towards the end of the afternoon.
You really need a car to see what the island has to offer- especially its dramatic natural beauty. In saying this we saw a turtle using a tour from the viator.com website (transport to and from the villa).
We would defintely recommend driving to see the shipwreck via Volimes in the North (you need to walk 500m away from the obvious vantage point to see the spectacular view), the Blue Caves via Agio Nicholas, the resort at Porto Limnious (get there in the morning to hire a bed in the shade) and the quiet beach at Daphne (where the turtles nest). The beaches on the Vasilikos peninsula are also very nice but get there early to park.
It may be a good idea to hire a 4WD - the insurance company said that the hire car was only valid on asphalt roads (although most roads are, the road to Daphe is not but the car survived).
A lot of the best swimming is under water and a snorkel and maybe fins would be useful. To explore the deep blue water on West coast, some kind of foot protection would be useful if you want to climb as the rocks are uneven and jagged.
The minimarket in Psarou is very limited but the nearest supermarket (no bigger than a Tesco express) is only a 5-10 minute drive away. The bakery over the road from the supermarket is very good. The melons, oranges and peaches are unusually delicious...
The taverna on the beach at Psarou was very good and we went there several times. our favourite though was the Porta del Mar (the staff are fantastic -try the Green Salad and the stuffed squid) which you can access by walking 3 minutes from Psarou via the beach or ten minutes walking along the roads.
There are bigger resorts such as Laganas with legendary nightlife but we were looking for a peaceful holiday and found it in spades.
Dolce Luxury Suites is a wonderful place to stay. From the moment we booked the owners were in contact with us and ready to help us make the most of our holiday. They met us at the airport and were so kind and welcoming. The villas are really spacious, well decorated and a short walk from a beach. There is someone who does daily housekeeping and it all felt really clean and well maintained. The best thing is that you feel away from the crowds, there is a small shop nearby and the beach has a taverna overlooking it. I would totally recommend Psarou as a holiday destination for people who want some peace and quiet, a lovely sandy beach and welcoming hosts!
