This attractive, double fronted Norfolk cottage enchants and envelops its guests. It has been renovated to retain a wealth of original features whilst being adapted for modern living. The delightful, fully enclosed south-west facing garden is lawned, with fruit trees and is the perfect place for children and dogs to potter around. It has a wonderful, large patio, perfect for alfresco evenings, a thirst quenching drink and a delicious barbecue.

Located in the rural village of Plumstead, adjacent to the Green and the national environmental award winning, community wildflower meadow and ancient pond. It is also home to a barn owl which occasionally can be seen circling the meadow. The neighbours sell their organic produce on an honesty system in season. You can enjoy many beautiful walks from the front door from which to experience the abundant wildlife including hares, deer and a wide variety of wild birds.

A short drive away (10 minutes) you will find the vibrant, market town of Holt with its abundance of excellent, individual shops, galleries, restaurants, delicatessens and recreational facilities, the lovely town of Burnham Market (40 minutes) with a host of traditional shops or the picturesque and very popular Wells-next-the-Sea (35 minutes).

For lovers of the outdoors, the sandy beaches of Sheringham and Cromer are less than 15 minutes drive. Organise a boat day trip and try to spot the seals, enjoy a day bird-watching or simply dip your toes in the water on the Holkham Beach, voted in the top 10 in the UK.

The spectacular Mannington Gardens is in close proximity, where you can wander around the charming gardens.

Additionally, for the sports enthusiasts, you can explore the countryside on bikes, enjoy a boat tour, indulge in some rowing, kayaking or canoeing or try the popular water zorbing.

Slightly further afield (35 to 70 minutes) there are a wealth of stunning gardens and spectacular homes to admire. This includes Holkham Hall, Oxburgh Hall, Houghton Hall, Castle Rising or Raveningham Gardens to name but a few.
