A short drive away (10 minutes) you will find the vibrant, market town of Holt with its abundance of excellent, individual shops, galleries, restaurants, delicatessens and recreational facilities, the lovely town of Burnham Market (40 minutes) with a host of traditional shops or the picturesque and very popular Wells-next-the-Sea (35 minutes).
For lovers of the outdoors, the sandy beaches of Sheringham and Cromer are less than 15 minutes drive. Organise a boat day trip and try to spot the seals, enjoy a day bird-watching or simply dip your toes in the water on the Holkham Beach, voted in the top 10 in the UK.
The spectacular Mannington Gardens is in close proximity, where you can wander around the charming gardens.
Additionally, for the sports enthusiasts, you can explore the countryside on bikes, enjoy a boat tour, indulge in some rowing, kayaking or canoeing or try the popular water zorbing.
