Pros: condo super clean, comfortable, great to have 2 bathrooms for 2 adults & 2 kids. Well equipped and spacious. Very quiet area which was nice.
Cons: after booking 9 mos in advance, we tried to reach owner 2weeks prior to confirm check in details (directions, keys, etc) as we'd be arriving early after a very long flight. 7 days prior we did receive confirmation of check in details & keybox code but no info on if we could check in early & a super tiny map with no directions on it. After 26 hours of being awake from travel & finally finding the condo, we were not able to get in early....I received an email that night letting me know we couldn't get in earlier due to the cleaning lady's busy schedule. The owner should realize that there is a huge time difference between travel zones.
That really was the only issue. If taking the Doubletree Hilton ferry over to Canary Wharf, do note that your basic oyster card does not cover the rides back & forth...much easier to hop on the bus to catch the tube & go from there.
The property was in a good condition, almost as good as shown in the pictures. Clean, well-appointed. Everything was working properly, including the internet. The only downside was that the gates were locked early in the evenings and we had to walk with our bags, etc. to get into the building. Apart from that the whole experience was good. Double Tree ferry was a very good way to connect to Thames Clipper which took us to central London within minutes - avoiding all the traffic congestion on the streets during peak hours. Tereesa was quick in responding to all our messages, was proactive in giving directions, maps, etc. and most importantly she was ready to accommodate some special requests that we had.
All in all, I would recommend this rental with five stars :-)
We were very satisfied with the Riverside Apartment, everything really looks as in the pictures, it was also well-equipped, clear and very well-maintained. We can only recommend this property to everybody, it is in a nice location with a wonderful view on the park and bank of the river. We found a lot of information about the localion and near restaurants and pubs, we liked pub Mayflower because of its atmosphere and Ship and whale because of very tasty ribs :). The trasport to the apartment from the tube station Canady Water is very easy by the bus C10 if you know the name of the bus stop Double Trees by Hilton Hotel , ( the driver we met the first time didn´t know the Lawrence Wharf).
