About the property

Little Willow - a holiday home that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

A three bedroom town house in the medieval town of Rye, close to the quay, a perfect exclusive retreat for couples or families with older children.

Little Willow is a modern, contemporary new build, set over three floors, in the fishing town of Rye, East Sussex. One twin bedroom on the ground floor with its own shower room, one double and one king size on the second floor sharing a family bathroom. With open plan lounge, kitchen and diner on the first floor, all with mod cons to make your stay a home from home. A small enclosed garden with outside dining and seating make it a perfect spot for morning coffee or a lunchtime glass of wine. Please note that children under the age of 7 are not permitted.

Around Rye

A five minute stroll from Little Willow and you will find yourself in the heart of historic Rye. Explore the cobbled path of the famous ‘Mermaid Street' or visit the ‘Mermaid Inn' known for its links with smugglers and in particular, the Hawkhurst Gang . Maybe browse the antique shops along the Quay or rest at one of the many tea rooms, Rye really is a picture postcard delight!

Head out of Rye towards Winchelsea or Hastings and discover what secrets the towns linked to smugglers have to hide or visit Hastings Country Park, with stunning cliff walks or woodland glades and blow away the cobwebs. For those wishing to explore the many castles dotted inland and along the coast, why not visit Pevensey or Hever Castle both beautiful and close by. Head towards Northiam and discover Great Dixter and gardens or Smallhythe Place near Tenterden - both lovely houses and gardens to visit and enjoy in all seasons.

Very good indeed!

  • 5 of 5

This property is extremely good. All fixtures, fittings and furnishing are of a very high quality. No expense has been spared by the owners. The Easter welcome basket was almost a full supermarket basket's worth of useful items well in excess of what you might ordinarily expect. The property is a townhouse so there are plenty of stairs within but it was extremely bright for such a property. The walk in to town (and to Mermaid Street) is only about 5-7 minutes and you'll stroll past the heritage/information centre en route. Beautiful countryside, pretty villages and places of interest abound in the area. Enjoy!
