Villa Marachique is a beautiful development with apartment buildings surrounding a lovely landscaped swimming pool. The whole area is enclosed and grassed slopes lead down to the central lagoon style and separate toddlers’ pool with a playground. There is a snack bar by the pool (high season only), an outdoor cloakroom, a great shallow end with beach effect, and the whole area is lovely for families with children.
The magnificent Algarve sunlight illuminate beautiful views from the apartment towards the sea at Alvor and Lagos bay, especially on mornings. The nearby shore offers a large choice of beautiful long sandy beaches and creeks surrounded by golden cliffs, the nearest being within 1.5 km walk.
With more than 3000 sunshine hours yearly, the Algarve generally invite vacationers to laziness on the beach or around the pool, but the area is also excellent with leisure for all: the area is rich of its many activity resources as can be found on the ‘turismo’ site visitalgarve.pt
The excellent Portuguese food is available from about 6 local restaurants and a few groceries within a 5 minute stroll, but the hire of a car open the choice to many more and is recommended when staying at this property. Vila Marachique is 2 km far from the centre of the picturesque but livened up old village of Alvor and of the night-life vibrating centre of Praia-da-Rocha.
ACCOMODATION FOR 5
This is a modern 2 bedroom recently built apartment, with reversible air conditioning, nicely furnished and decorated in a vacation-to-the-sea spirit.
The apartment has a spacious entrance hall (a locked cupboard houses the owners’ personal effects). Directly ahead is the bedroom area with a large double bedroom, fitted wardrobe and en-suite full bathroom. The second bedroom is a triple with 3 full sized single beds (cot available), and there is another full bathroom. To the right of the hall, an archway leads to the spacious sitting/dining room with comfortable seating, dining table and a connected HD television with DVD player.
Patio doors from the sitting room lead out to an external dining terrace with table and chairs and a great view. The very smart fitted kitchen is separated from the main living area by a breakfast bar, and is equipped to a high standard; fridge with freezer compartment, gas and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, plus all the usual equipment. From there, sliding doors lead to an external utility area with a washing machine, additional fridge and drying terrace.
The apartment is connected to mains water, gas, electricity, NOS cable TV with many channels in various languages (including English) and true broadband Internet access with WIFI. There is a cleaning service each week or on changeover day. There is a local bus service into Alvor or Portimao, but a taxi might be cheaper especially if there are 4 of you. For car renters, there is parking space available outside the block.
Property was top notch as usual. Never get tired of the wonderful views from the balcony.
Family of 4, loved our stay here. Have stayed at the complex on a number of occasions but this was the first time at VM-304. Everything about the apartment was perfect. Pool and sea views a bonus and ofcource with 2 teenage kids the far internet was a big plus. Will hope to return in 2016 again.

Magnifique séjour!!! l'appartement est très agréable et parfaitement entretenu.Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine très pratique avec des enfants en bas âge et la proximité de la plage. Nous recommendonc sans hésiter et reviendrons l'année prochaine avec plaisir.
Very nice place! A lot of sun, fantastic view, the swimming-pool is amazing, very good and affordable restaurants close from the flat. Everything you need for you and your people!
This apartment is ideal for a 3 children family. This is large enough for everyone to have its own space.
Moreover, the location is very close to the beach then the issue is to choose between rhe pool or the beach.
