About Damon Frank

I grew up in Northern California skiing the slopes of Lake Tahoe, while my wife grew up in Southern California and enjoyed the beach scene. We now have 2 young kids and we love spending time together and creating memorable lifelong experiences in Mammoth, whether we are skiing in the winter or enjoying all the summer mountain activities. I use Mammoth Mountain as my primary training venue for FreeSkiing World Tour events that I compete in during the winters. We are very happy to offer our Mammoth home to you, your family and friends in hopes that you enjoy Mammoth as we do and create your own memorable lifelong experiences.

As an avid competion FreeSkier, my dream has always been to own a moutain condo at a world class ski resort. After meeting my wife and settling in Southern California, we were naturally drawn to Mammoth for skiing. Soon we began to visit Mammoth in the summertime and we instantly recognized how much Mammoth has to offer all year round!!! As our family started to grow, I wanted to make an investment in a place where my family could enjoy quality time together for the years to come during all 4 seasons. Mammoth was that place!!!!

Great for families

Location is perfect - easy to get around town and short distance to grocery store, park and walk/bike trail. Unit is very nice and good for many people. Upstairs has numerous beds and one full bath. Stairs to unit were a bit steep for me. Complex is very nice. Nice forest view.

Perfect for our needs... LOVED the property.

Clean space that easily held 10 people (3 adults, 7 children) with room to spare. Instructions (e.g., how to locate unit) and suggestions (e.g., what to see in the area) were very detailed. Location was perfect- close to local restaurants, grocery store... park w/ stream to explore was literally in the "backyard." Amazing views. Perfect for any family with young children. Will definitely use again in the future.

Nice place good for a family the location is very close to markets great.

The property is ok almost all well supplied with all the necessary items for your particular purpose, the only draw back was not sufficient towels and toilet paper found the refrigerator a little dirty but we cleaned it the sliding door didn't work but the next day was fixed. I have to say that I had good communication with the owner Damon frank he said to call him if something was not correct but the little things wrong were not sufficient of a condition that we could not fix them our-selves like cleanliness. All circumstances considered I will go back and rent the same property again my wife, daughter and grand kids had a great time there. The description of the property was correct and yes would recommend it to anyone.

Clean and well maintained, but on second floor!

We enjoyed our stay, however, we did not realize that it was on the second floor even though I wrote before renting to inform Mr. Frank that we were bringing my 94 year old mother. She had a great deal of difficulty climbing the stairs and so only left the condo once during our visit!!!! Kitchen was quite small for eight of us, could not cook or clean up with everyone seated at the table! No extra paper towels, toilet paper, etc. provided!

Owner's Response: Through the Home Away app, there is a complete history of every conversation between renter and owner. The Renter never asked about the condo being on the second floor. I am always upfront and completely honest about everything in my condo including the exact number of stairs it takes to get today front door. This is my only condo and I treat it as my second home with pride and passion. I also provide my cell phone number and email for direct questions and communication throughout the entire rental process. In addition I provide 24 x 7 property management to ensure the satisfaction of my guests.
