Set on top of a hill on a 5000 sq m plot inside a nature reserve and just outside the traditional village of Kritou Tera, close to Pafos and Polis, this villa benefits from amazing sea and mountain views due to its elevated position.
The modern villa has a kitchen to die for with all mod-cons including two ovens, an integrated coffee maker and a large fridge freezer.
The lounge has large picture windows to take advantage of the wonderful views and doors open up onto the pool terrace. An infinity pool again maximises the spectacular views.
Entertainment is provided by a large, 50 inch flat screen tv with English language programs provided by a satellite system and UK channels provided through the fast (by Cyprus standards) WiFi internet system.
All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and plenty of storage.
We make no apology for mentioning yet again the spectacular views with the villa providing exciting views of eagles and buzzards for birdwatchers and holiday makers alike. Surrounding the villa is the Cyprus countryside and ample walks and trails criss-cross the area.
If you can tear yourself away from the villa, the traditional village of Kritou Terra provides shops and coffee shops and was home to the first casino in Cyprus, however you can leave your tuxedos at home as it no longer operates as a gambling establishment but is open as one of the historical artefacts that abound in Kritou Tera and the surrounding villages.
Kritou Tera, originally known as Kritou has existed ever since Frankish occupation. Its main occupation being the growing of fruits, nuts and grapes for the nearby production of wine. The climate of this region was one of the factors which contributed to the flourishing of these fruits.
As well as the first casino in Cyprus, nearby attractions include the Kremmiotis Waterfall, the Cave of Kefalovrysos and carved tombs.
The nearby town of Polis with it's tavernas, restaurants, supermarkets and banks offers ample shopping and dining facilities whilst this villa offers an ideal base to explore the best side of Cyprus. The marina at Latchi is particularly worth visiting with its tavernas surrounding the marina, it offers people watching over a nice meal or drink.
Whether it's for a short holiday to sample the flavour of the 'unspoilt' Cyprus or for a longer break to escape the Northern European winter, a stay here will give you a holiday that you won't easily forget.
For those sun-worshippers amongst you, the villa has a large sun-terrace with a large, private swimming pool (which can be heated if required for a small on-cost), whilst being close to the Akamas Nature reserve, the more energetic can take walks or bike rides in the “rugged” Cyprus, getting close to nature. Spring is a particularly nice time to be in the Akamas as The Island is green and the Spring flowers are open.
There are stunning views from the villa down towards Polis and Latchi.
Entertainment is provided by a large TV, with satellite programmes, books and games and WiFi internet is included.
